Found this sweet little spot just off the highway near a river bed. There seems to be a lack of decent wild camping in this area and this one was a good one. We drove down the dirt track for 1km then parked right next to the river (please note these coordinates are for the turn off). There were a few people walking around and they said it was very safe to camp. Very nice relaxed spot. Lots of shade.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
I slept very well here, quiet, same locals walking around during the day (they use here as a shortcut)...
It's ok for one night.
Just pulled out of the dirt road in the grass area.
We stayed a bit right from the dry river bed on a flat grassy ground. Lovely place to spend a night. Felt safe.
Report Check-InGood spot next to a dry river. Very peaceful and low temperatures at night. Some locals (mostly riding horses) were passing by and told us it is a secure spot to sleep.
