From Cusco we wanted to reach Tacna by this route that few do (36b-36a)We believe it is a good option if you want to drive with few cars and get to Tacna more directly. The route is in very good condition, only that it is driven very high.
Recommend to load fuel in Puno because until Moquegua almost don’t have other options.

Desde Cusco quisimos llegar a Tacna por esta ruta que pocos hacen (36b-36a). Creemos que es una buena opción si quieres manejar con pocos autos y llegar a Tacna de forma más directa. La ruta está en muy buen estado, solo que se maneja a mucha altura.
Recomendamos cargar combustible en Puno porque hasta Moquegua casi no tienes otras opciones.
