Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
437r for 2 adult 1 child in campsite.
Big camp beautiful trees and swimming pool. Restaurant has very nice river view. Hyenas come along the fence in the evening. Watch out for monkeys. Lots of big grasshoppers jumping all around too. Sites not clearly marked but it’s less chaotic than skukuza. Kitchen has microwave stove boiling water. Clean ablutions. Drinking water (from the green taps).
Huge campsite, not enough ablutions if it is fully booked. But everything clean and working. You can walk around and use the swimming pool.
Report Check-InIt was crowded just like the other Kruger campsites.
R465 for two adults and two children.
It’s a caravan and that’s what you get you. On the phone they said they were fully booked but when we turned up they had space for us. Take a chance it’s Kruger after all!!!
Report Check-InNice , big campsite for truckcamper also, shaded under trees, the ablutions are old but clean and working, good kitchen with hot water and cooker, places with electricity and braai area. From the restaurant you have a nice view over the river and the food is delicious.
Report Check-InCamp is as previously noted. We entered at Giriyondo and had not booked but were told to check at Letaba if they have a campsite. Camp was fully booked and we were given a reserved site. Lovely staff. We were not expecting the KTP to be so busy but its a well run camp
Report Check-InGreat Camping, lots of shade and good ablutions and wash up area. Power points and braai’s at most stands. Phalaborwa Town is 50kms away and has great mechanics for most vehicle types. Easy to get exit and entry stamps at Kruger Park gate.
Report Check-InAs described below but with electricity at sites. we didn't book in advance as they have a huge camping area. very good amenities and kitchen block. we saw hippos grazing on river bank at dusk and camped on the fence where hyenas prowled up and down. restaurant looked very modest but good views down on the river. Big but better than most places in the park.
Report Check-InOne night we stayed here, and it was the cleanest campsite of Krugerpark. Nice people working here.
Report Check-InAs discribed below.
We did not booked in advance, but there was space. So we stayed for 2 nights.
Campsite has not actualy a specific pitch. So it seems there is always a pitch to put your tent/vehicle. They all are sandy spots.
Showers hot, but when you are late?
Restaurant closes at 18.00. That is odd! There is an other sort of restaurant on wooden benches, but the menu is very limited. We did not eat there.
In the evening there will be a Impala to visit your tent and jump over the braai (not on it!!).
Price campsite:R305 for 2 people.
nice museum for free about elephants! cinema for free too saturday, we learned too much about giraffes. all facilities:shop, fuel station, bar, restaurant. no grass. hot ablutions. 308 per site.
Report Check-InVery large, dusty campsite, with all the usual high quality SAN Parks facilities; great ablutions, restaurant and shop. Lots of shade. Busy place but you can still find private space which is nice. Would recommend for one or two nights.
