As per descriptions. Cool campsite on the river. Friendly staff, cold beer, good food. What's not to like. 20bzd for me on my motorbike.

Report Check-In

We really enjoyed the riverfront bar and restaurant! What a view! Also great place to pick up a tour to Lamanai ruins which are really impressive and remote. It had been very rainy so only one RV spot was suitable for us (we didn’t want to get stuck in the mud). Unfortunately the site had a biting ant problem so we were not super comfortable. We felt very safe and welcome. Shower was pretty basic but it worked. They arranged our laundry for us with a local business and it was an excellent price. They let us fill our tank with potable water (and noisily and comically bathe our dog in the parking lot!). We thought it was a good option and would definitely go back.

Report Check-In

Easy spot to stay our first night after crossing the Belize border from Mexico. They owner was very friendly and helpful. We used the electricity & paid $30Belize. Walked the small town and had dinner back at the Lamanai restaurant. Clean bathrooms didn’t use the shower. There is space for a couple of big rigs.

Report Check-In

2 motorcyclists in 1 tent.
20 Bzd and were able to park down by the river. Little croc out sunning most of the day. The owner and staff were very helpful and gave us lots of info and tips.
restaurant food was really nice

Report Check-In

Forget the nice spot next to the river, they obliged you to stay next to the parking in front of the restaurant the one next to the others, so no privacy and all the people from the restaurant are watching you. And now the price as increased to 30. We didn't stay, to expensive for what you get.

Report Check-In

Camped here for the night while cycling through Belize. Charge for camping is just BZD20 for two people in one tent.
Lovely spot by the river, good restaurant and a short walk into town

Report Check-In

Nice place like desribed before. Recommended.

Report Check-In

Excellent facility located on on a river replete with a variety of water birds, and apparently crocodiles although we never saw them.
the hosts Mr P and his daughter Nisha are very gracious and a fund of information on the area and Belize in general.
They also arranged a river trip to the Laminai ruin which I highly recommend.
We stayed in our camper van but there are also rooms to rent.
There is also an excellent restaurant and bar.
I highly recommend this resort in all aspects.

Report Check-In

Additional information to my last. the food here is insanely good. Burgers last night, to die for. tonight, a Beef Burrito for me, Leeann had Chicken Alfredo Pasta. Huge portions, perfectly done. Yum!

Report Check-In

we have a shortbox 1500, and 22 foot travel trailer. Very tight fit at the entrance, but loads of room after that. Very nice place, staff are friendly and helpful.

Report Check-In

Couldn’t make it in my 13meter 41’ skoolie.

Report Check-In

Good place to camp on the way to/from border.
20bzd for night for tent. Shower very simply. During breakfast we saw crocodile.

Report Check-In

Bel endroit pour camper avec van de toutes tailles. Plus facile que la region de cerros infectee de moustiques en ce moment.

Report Check-In

Stayed here one night, parked in the shade by the trees in the day and moved closer to the cabanas at night to plug in the van. Wifi, clean toilets, didn’t use the shower. No swimming in the river because of crocodiles. 30bz/night

Report Check-In

Stayed here 2 times. Very quiet and chill. Paid 30 BZ a night. Access to electricity, clean toilets, and WiFi. The shower was dirty and messy. There’s a sulfur smell in the atmosphere that sometimes is very strong.

Report Check-In

I am adding that Lance, from the place, is a guide and can organise any tour all over the country. The owner nicely took us to a garage he knew in order to fix a mechanical problem on our RV. We highly recommend this place !

Report Check-In

Great place on the river, very nice people. We arrived on a Sunday, had dinner at the restaurant, simple, nice and affordable. 30bz $ for 2 adults 3 kids and RV per night.
We arranged a trip to Lamanai from there, 65 US $ pp (the young kids didn’t pay) with round trip to Lamanai by boat, breakfast and lunch provided. It was worth the money. We really enjoyed it and our guide Amir was really knowledgeable and very nice.
Amenities just ok, clean toilets and cold very basic shower. Some palapas just for you when the restaurant is closed on Mon and Tue.

Report Check-In

Nice place direct an the river. Good restaurant and clean toilets. There is a shower but maybe you don't like to us it. It's not clean but if you where shoes it works. The restaurant plays music from 11am to 10pm but it's closed on monday and tuesday. The family is very friendly and offer tours to Lamanai in a boat or to La Milpa by car, both highly recommended.

Report Check-In

30 BZD a night for 2 people in a truck camper. Restaurant closed Mon and Tue. As of Dec 2021 no shower or laundry service. There is a laundry place within walking distance. This family is very knowledgeable of Belize and a joy to speak with.

Report Check-In

Beautiful place, delicious food. We stayed 4 nights (30B$/camper) and did the Lamanai boats tour (60B$/person), boarding here.

Report Check-In

Nice place and the river was only stinking a little. The dinner at the Restaurant was fine. We could fill our water tank there and had electricity.

Report Check-In

Nice place. Cold refreshing shower. Quiet and the river didn't smell. It is now fine.
30 B-$/night.

Report Check-In

This is a very lovely place and we really enjoyed staying here for 2 days. The river is beautiful, it doesn't smell bad anymore. We saw a lot of birds and a crocodile in the evening. Bathrooms are clean, shower is a bit adventurous, but ok and wifi is very fast. The price of 30BZ per night is fair in our opinion.

Report Check-In

Very nice place to spend the night. Food is good and the owners are very friendly. Toilet are clean shower is very simple.
Unfortunately they have a big problem with the river here. It stinks extremely. According to the owners a factory upstream is to blame for this stench. We would have liked to stay longer but the stench is really very extreme and hardly bearable. Very unfortunate

Report Check-In

Nice place right in the river. You get your own palapa with electrical hookups if you need it. WiFi reached the car. Basic bathroom and cold shower. Great for birdwatching and walking distance to town. Note: both the women in our party had uncomfortable experiences with one of the staff, owner was notified, we hope they resolve soon.

Report Check-In

Nice and quiet place to rest and sleep.
Raul the owne is a great guy. We payed $B 30,00 for 2 pearsons and a car with rooftent. Stayed for 2 nights for this price after asking Raul. He gently allowed us.
Shower, bathroom, electricity at site and non potable water.
Good wifi and if you are lucky you may see a crocidile in the river. We did see crocodiles, birds and iguanas too.

Report Check-In

Really nice place right on the New River. Still BZD 30 per car. Good place for birding. Swimming is at your own risk though ;)

Report Check-In

As described. If you have to stay in orangewalk. Best to do it in a campground. Lots of beggars in town asking for handouts Would not want to camp on the streets.
Raul is the owner and helped us out tremendously with a rash I got in the jungle. Super nice staff. Great 1st stop in belize

Report Check-In

Wonderful spot to camp and see wildlife for a few days. All inclusive boat trip to Lamanai 60BZD per person..see lots of birds and Crocs, includes breakfast lunch and ruin fees.

Raul is a very interesting and talented individual and his family super friendly. He can make recommendations for other places to see in Belize. Could possibly take you tarpon fishing if you have gear.

Highly recommended...camp right in the river (watch out for the occasional fire ant if you're barefoot or in sandals). A smallish crocodile hangs out here, but it doesn't stop people from swimming in the river... apparently it's not aggressive to people.

Cold shower, building still under construction but serviceable.

Great food and drinks available in full service restaurant.

Report Check-In

We stayed one night, 30 BZ$/night, fast wifi, good Shrimp Ceviche at the restaurant.

Report Check-In

As described, beautiful and quiet place to spend a night (or more) in Orange Walk.
Very friendly and helpful owner/caretaker!
Price is still BZD 30 per camper / RV which includes using a palapa on the river, electricity and water and their fast wifi.
Plus you can use toilets (flush / with TP) and cold, basic shower.
They still offer boat tours to the Lamanai ruins but we don’t have any info about it because we drove there the next day by ourselves.

Report Check-In

Very beautiful riverside. Lots of birds and sometimes a little crocodile around. Good WiFi, very clean restroom. Cold shower in a separate room.

Report Check-In

Well, we really enjoyed this place. Nice river, lots of different birds, lizards around. Even crocodiles come to visit. Good atmosphere. We did the boat tour to Lamanai which I can recommend- if you want to spend the 60 us. But I felt it was worth it. However nice place.... only a bit too expensive (30 Belize for van) in my opinion... but it’s Belize.

Report Check-In

Great place to spend the night or a few days. Accurate reviews. Large grassy lot with restaurant, electric outlet at the palapas by the river, fast wifi, functional cold shower and toilets with a seat and tp. What a treat. Mr. P., the pleasant and helpful owner, was on site when we arrived. As was one of the resident crocodiles. Perfect location.

Restaurant, some Palapas, 2-3 leveled parking spots at the river, more on the grass or concrete. Friendly people. Electricity, toilets and showers not in best conditions. good wifi. Payed 15 USD for van, two adults ans one child. Swimming in the river is allowed but on own risk, there are crocos in the water and may be on the camping side... we like this place. Can also do a tour on the river from here, all day with meal and drinks, 60 USD/ Person.

Crocodile-Feeding just when we arrived. Mr. P. told us that the croc comes when a campervan enters the site - not sure about that. We really enjoyed the spot after 2 weeks driving through Belize. Ein sehr schöner Platz. Die Dusche ist unterste Kategorie. Der Ort ist fußläufig schnell zu erreichen.

Report Check-In

Very pretty spot right on the river. We came in hopes to view the crocodiles, and the feeding. They said they do it around 7pm, but I think they didn't do it that night because we are practically the only ones here. We are not big spenders if you know what I mean. Probably not worth wasting crocodile food to impress us. Paid 30blz for camping with electricity, great wifi, nice toilets and one kinda scary cold shower. Good place to do some hand laundry. Plenty of water, and big sunny area for drying.

Report Check-In

Good spot. Friendly people. WiFi & Clean Toilets. $30BZD
When we where there they fed the crocodiles, that was fun too watch! Tours are a bit pricey. 60USD per person. We did not go on a tour, so can not say if it is worth it.
