Not sure why previous visitor noted the camp as closed. Maybe it was a winter closure?
I’m here now and it is very much open. Looks like it’s received some recent thinning of the trees. Many stumps and branches on the ground. Sites are flat with paved parking and picnic/tent pads. Each site has a fire ring. Pit toilets. Water spigots at various points along road in campground. Camped in site 13 and with a 50ft hose was able to reach a spigot to fill my camper water tank. Quiet at night.
During off-peak hours AT&T cell service tested 22.8Mbps down and 0.37Mbps up on an iPhone 14. Verizon tested 21.95Mbps down and 1.14Mbps down on an Inseego Mi-Fi hotspot.
