East Timor
Simple but comfortable guesthouse.
Most rooms are twin rooms with 2 single beds in them. When we were there (early 2019) it was US$10 per bed.
Very friendly family run the guesthouse. The man has incredible English and will go out of his way to help you out.
No shower, just the standard bucket of water. But that is very normal around here
You can park your motorbike/car off the street around the back of their property. Lots of shade to work on your bike if need be.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Still $10 for a bed, with a mosquito net. Like the previous person said,- basix guesthouse, bur can't go wrong for $10. Shared bathroom with a western toilet (no paper so be sure to bring some) & a bucket shower. They do coffee on site, not sure about food but there is a place to eat in town (restaurant Angel the owner recommend). The owner spent time working in Oxford, UK, so speaks English quite well.
