40S the matrimonial with private bathroom. we didn't ask he did this price because we took 2 nights. clean room. friendly staff. hot shower. good Wi-Fi. parked the car just in front of the door of our Room. the food truck was not here but polleria very cheap in the same square. very good place. 15min walk from the center. good deal. we recommend.

Price for matrimonial is actually 50 but if you stay more than one night he offers it for 40. Good wifi, clean rooms, shower has good pressure but varies in temperature.

Entrance I measured ! 2.79m high on the left and right little bit higher in the middle. Awesome place ! 40s double room when you stay two nights. Quiet and super secure. Vw LT with a Highroof fitted . 15 min walk in the city and Calle Puno for fixing car 8 min walk away. If you need to fix your car come here and rest and let the mechanic do their work. John at Calle puno is awesome see my other point. Hot shower in the evening, warm in the morning.

Stayed here 3 nights, 40soles a night for a matrimonial with bathroom. Our car was parked outside the room so we could get electricity to the van for the fridge. Laundry service was 10soles (they didn't weigh it, but we had a LOT of laundry) and was very clean. We weren't able to find the food truck. :( Only downside is the walls are quite thin so you can hear quite a lot of your neighbours haha, so if you end up next to someone you may want to request to move a few doors down if there's space. :P Also there's a free walking tour in Arequipa (tip basis) that meets at Las Gringas.

We stayed in our car and just used the bathroom of a single room. Payed 35s per night. There wasn't always hot water but the owner was really friendly and we could use the shower of another room. The private garages aren't there anymore. They built new rooms. It's also a hotel for couples for some hours during the day :-)

One of the best deals we had so far during our travels. Secure parking, matrimonial room and fast internet (consistently fast, we stayed here for 7+ days and it was working all the time) - for 40soles per night (50, but if you just ask 40, you'll get 40 :) )
Julio was very friendly, helpful, charged my car battery when we could not start in the morning (and told me where to buy a new one :) )

we stayed 3 days in a double room with queen size bed,tv with cable, WiFi and hot shower. Julio, the owner only charged us 120 soles for the three day stay. Julio is very helpful and always available should you need anything. The hostal is a block a way from a small square where the foodwagen, a peruvian food truck (with great food and prices between 7 to 8 soles) operantes tuesday to saturdays evenings/nights. Tour Citröen Berlingo was par ked right next to tour room. great spot.

Super secure, cheap and quiet. Gated parking in courtyard outside of our room. Great owners, laundry available. Needed to ask for shower curtain, but they brought one right away. Bargained from 50 soles down to 40 for two people in a private room.

When we arrived in Arequipa all other iO-Spot were occupied so we chose to search na new one:
The Hostal Gran Versalles is 25 Minutes walking from the Plaza de Armas.
The Hostal has 2 Stars and offers Rooms in the main house complex.
The interior courtyard is surrounded by rooms, some has a garage with direct access to the room.
We took a double bed room and he offered us 50 Soles/night and we negociated to 40/Night. After two days we asked for one more night and the receptionist offered us to take a single bed room (smaller) and we just paid 30 Soles/night!
The Room has TV, Electricy, Bathroom with all needs including hot shower and a fresh towel.
During our time we stood in our camper-van in the courtyard. We had no electricy in the car as the place is not prepared for campers. Maybe when you have a room in the courtyard you can use a cable or ask for another solution.
The entrance is almost 5 Meters width and 3+Meters high (Eyemessure)
