Argentina
This is a campground and also the trailhead for Refugio Frey, a nice little waterfall, and a sweet mirador of the lake. Nice wooded campground on the lake with good facilities
no strong eletricity to plug a motorhome..
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Is a little bit overpriced. Toilets and showers are a little bit old but are very clean!
Report Check-InNice campground, potable water, showers clean and hot between 17-22. Very crowded in summer, we we’re told. Almost empty now.
Report Check-InPretty campground. The entrance is odd. Right now, because of road construction, the large entry gate to the park is often closed. But if you are coming to the campground, you may open the gate and drive in! We called the campground and were told to do this. The campground is at the very end just past the trailhead signs. 13,000AR first night then 10,000 2nd night. Pricy but we were glad to be able to plug our RV in and run our washer/dryer no problem which was good because it rained the whole time we were here. Still hiked to Refugio Frey though and it was worth it.
Report Check-InBeautiful place, firewood for sale, nice manager. Paid 8000 per night (3000 per person plus 2000 for the van).
Report Check-Inbeautiful campsite right by the lake shore. Stayed one night, price now 3000pp
Report Check-InWe camped 3 days.
Great location.
2500 argentinian pesos per person, no fees for the car.
Bathroom still not the cleanest but there is hot water for shower from 17h to 22h.
Don't forget to pick your 15 minutes shower turn in the morning, otherwise you might not be able to shower at night.
Muito bom o camping, ampla área equipada com energia e pias com água, banheiros com chuveiro quente muito limpos. Pagamos 2500 p/p incluso carro
Report Check-InPrice per adult is 2400 (including camper). Showers are hot, spots are big and equipped with benches and firepit. All in all nice camping
Report Check-InWe park our van here to hike to the Laguna Toncek, with all car breaks we preferred to leave our rolling home safe. 300psos for the vehicle for the day. On the other hand impossible to take a shower here after hiking, and to spend the night it's 1000PP so we didn't stay for the night.
Report Check-InNice and big camping. All facility's. good position to sendero rifujio Frey. we pay 650 pro person/night.
Report Check-Inbig camping spot, bathrooms ok, hot shower only in the evening from 6-10pm, nice sandy beach, 900 pesos for 2 people and motorhome
Report Check-InNice place. Indeed 450pp. Facilities not the cleanest, but we did find a nice flat spot to sleep. Great views over the lake. Perhaps a bit too expensive for what you get, but it’s Patagonia so fine! Would stay here again.
Report Check-Innice and very clean Campground directly at the lake in the first...a lot of shadow, parillas, restaurant. Very friendly. 450 $ per Person.
Just in front of the entrance starts four hiking trails...
Internet, hot shower. little pricy but worth it. nice owner, trailhead near and privat beach.space for rooftop tent
Report Check-InThis campground is only good for travelers with vehicles an in big groups in my opinion. Solo travelers wouldn’t recommend and Jr showers only between 7pm-12am. Not ideal
Report Check-InStopped by to check place out for a holiday overlander meet up. 200 pesos per person + 30 for vehicle + 5pp for tourist tax + another 20 per person to use the kitchen!? An absurd total of 460 pesos (27USD) per day to camp here.
Wanted to say hi to friends that were camping there and were told that we needed to pay 100 pp for day use + 30 for parking for spending a few minutes in the campground talking to friends. Rude staff. There are way better options around with better facilities, more amenities and a much nicer staff for less money. Check out Camping Ser.
Report Check-InNice sites, some are very close to the lake, some in the trees. They are cutting down a lot of trees to create new sites. It's a bit of a mess but there is enough firewood.
Slow wifi close to the main building. Hot showers from 18.00-22.00h, but during our stay they were hot during the whole day.
The hike to Refugio Frey is recommendable!
2km dirt road + 13 km paved road to Bariloche.
Very nice Campground at the lake. wifi, elect., clean hot showers in the evening. 150peso/pp. The trailheard to the Refugio Frey startet here...
Report Check-InAs per other reviews. Nice site with a large area and plenty of choice for a spot. There are a few structures dotted around supplying shelter for cooking etc. Current price 150 each plus 100 per day to park our vehicle while we went on a 2 day trek. We were not initially told about the extra parking charge otherwise we would not have stayed here. We got him down to 350 total for 2 people plus parking.
Report Check-InGreat campsite with good facilities. Hot showers, dish washing stations, electricity and lights at camp, fire pits, campsites on the lake. Don't think they have wifi but we didn't ask. 120 per person
Report Check-InThis is also the trailhead for Refugio Frey, a nice little waterfall, and a sweet mirador of the lake. Didn't stay at campground, but it looked nice!
