We stayed on southbound side. We stayed on the car side rather than the truck side because it was further from the highway and a little quieter and also there was tons of room. A little road noise but overall nice to stay.
Report Check-InStayed overnight no problems. Just like the previous descriptions. Road noise wasn't too bad after 11:00 pm.
Report Check-InRelatively quiet, large, and deserted rest area in the middle of the everglades. Water spigots at the picnic tables. Trash cans and dumpsters available. Dog run area. Clean restrooms. Vending machines inside are hit or miss. Security makes the rounds occasionally, cameras are watching, and the ground is very well lit at night. FWIW, the 3hr/10hr max stop rule was not enforced.
Report Check-InI slept here with no problems. Don't see any no overnight parking signs.
Report Check-InEasily one of the biggest capacity rest stops we've been to. 100+ cars/rigs could fit and it's on both sides of the highway. Stayed here last night with zero issues. Night time security circles the lot frequently. We are in a sprinter van, but chose to stay on the truck side and no other rigs pulled in all night. Bathrooms are very clean and appeared open 24/7. Vending machines, dumpsters, potable water near picnic tables, and even a dog park.
