We had to pay a toll here... To go to Roberto Barrios waterfalls. 10 pesos per person. It seems weird but otherwise we couldn't pass so we paid.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
No toll when you come Roberto Barrios falls. So if you arrive by 199 and take the dirt road going to Roberto Barrios it's free.
Report Check-InToll still here, he said it is to keep the place clean. Paid $20MXN for 2 adults.

10p per person. Most towns in Chiapas have these tolls to enter, all the ones south on the Frontera if you enter them off the highway. Happy to contribute to the community we’re visiting!
Report Check-InStill there, paid 10 pesos per person (on motorbikes). Done in 10 seconds.
Report Check-InWe passed here and paid 10 pesos per person. No idea how we couldn’t have paid, they were blocking the road and didn’t let us through unless paying. They were friendly.
Report Check-InNot an official toll. Please just keep on driving and don't pay.
There is no reason why some people should charge and pocket your money for driving on this public road past this village.
If you observe you will see that not a single Mexican from the area is charged this toll. Please do not support some people's scamy begging lifestyle instead of actually working.
Report Check-InLooks fairly official. They have a banner and a toll booth and if you ask for a receipt, they have an official receipt for you.. $10pp .. for maintaining the grutta and help locals! Very friendly. Beautiful road from palenque to the cascades..
