Tried to revisit this spot, the original road going to it has a damaged bridge so there are now concrete blocks blocking it. Tried to take Middle Road as an alternative route, but eventually there’s a turn to get to Jewett and the road looks like it isn’t a road anymore - practically has trees growing in the middle of it. Not sure if there’s another alt route.
There are various pull offs big enough for a van along Middle Road and the other logging roads here. We found a nice one with a mountain view on Middle Rd after taking the first right turn.
Report Check-In15 mins on a pretty crappy road, was rough in my skoolie but made it. Super small would have been a bummer if we had to turn back but we squeezed in. The place would probably be full with only 4-5 cars. Gorgeous peaceful spot cant wait to stay a while
Report Check-InGood place to camp, enough for three four rigs, about 7 miles of gravel road, drive slow. You may not have a place to park and camp if all the spots are taken during peak season.
Report Check-In4 picnic tables and fire rings at the end of a well maintained dirt road with good side clearance. Informal boat launch with shallow rocky bottom. Best for light powerboat / canoe/ kayak. Early June was windy with few bugs and on a weekday only one other group that left around lunch time. Would avoid on Summer weekends.
