Flavia and Mariano have an ice cream parlor, which by the way, they have delicious ice cream, and they live behind in a little house. They have ample space to camp with the van, and they like to receive travelers. There is a shower and bathroom available. //
Flavia y Mariano tienen una heladería, que por cierto, tienen unos helados riquísimos, y ellos viven atrás en una casita. Tienen un espacio amplio para acampar con la furgoneta, y les gusta recibir viajeros. Si les apetece conocer a esta hermosa pareja y a sus 4 perros, no se lo piensen y vengan a visitarles! Hay una ducha y baño disponible.

Asked to camp here and the answer was no. Had to find something else with two crying toodlers in the backseat.
Report Check-InWe are travelling with our bikes and usually we camp. This time we couldn’t put our tent there but we stayed in the « air bnb » room. Clean, nice room and we could use the kitchen. Flavia and Mariano were super friendly and helped us to got more information about what to see, etc
They came with us for a ride the day after which was really nice!!
We highly recommend this place !
We agree all what the other travellers said about Mariano and Flavia.
We came late in the evening and they ware immediately helpful and available to discuss with us about travelling and the life in costa rica.
Mariano and Flavia have bought a truck to make a camper installation and their buses restaurants are amazing. There is even a moovie truck.

mariano and flavia are so friendly! we stayed in the grounds next to La Parada the restaurant/ice cream buses. good food, awesome ice cream and the owners were so welcoming. Highly recommended, even go out of your way to visit. they love overlanders and have some awesome stories. great people. ask to try thier wine
Report Check-InGreat place to stay !!! Flavia and Mariano are really lovely, helpful and love to meet travellers. They welcomed us like if we were from their family. They let us use their washing machine. They have 4 nice dogs (a great dane !).
Best thing: you give the money you want, they will improve the camping infrastructure with it 🙂
They have a restaurant and a gelateria with cheap prices in 2 school buses , with games for kids (bikes, giant jenga...).
The restaurant is closed monday until tuesday 5pm so there could be nobody around.
