Lovely, simple campsite with friendly owners. They do all the work on the farm by themselves, which if you know is lots of hard work.

I just warn you that there's not much wind protection. In a pickle you could probably sleep in the shower place if there's nobody else present.

Super relaxed, peaceful quiet place. Lovely owners. We stayed for 5 days with our kids. All comments below are correct! Impressive 6.000 acre property, they took us with them when feeding cattle.

This is not a place where one just comes, sleeps and goes again - this is like home away from home, this is a place with a lot of heart and soul.

We extended our stay because is was so relaxed and peaceful. Jos and Carol gave a warm welcome and we had lovely conversations with them. The camp site (150 NAD pppn) is fantastic.

Campsite next to a (dry) riverbed with an astonishing view to the surrounding landscape. The campsite is run by a very friendly elderly couple, who welcomed us with tea and a nice chat under their pergola. Don’t be scared off by the entrance, as it is a life farm and animals can walk around. You will not be bothered by them on the campsite. Hot water is provided by a donkey shower and you will have running water and a sink. All nicely hand made. Go bring them a visit, they deserve it.

very nice campsite built carefully with recycled materials by the couple managing the place (and running the farm next to the campsite). the campsite is a very calm area free of animals and their smells. hot water, hot shower, sink for washing dishes, drinkable water, braii and in some spots table and chairs.
prices: 130 rand per adult, 65 per child, and 35 for wood for barbaque.
much better option than the expensive Helmeringhausen (430 rand 2 people) , just only 11 Kms far from it by a very good road.

Nice camping place 11km from Helmeringhausen. A bit different among the rocks. Interesting showers with hot water available. Very nice couple running the place.
