Stayed Sep 22, '24 with no issues. Road noise thru the night. Nice outhouses (bring a light). Small garbage cans on site. Nice rest area. Look for the back-in spot tucked away in the right side.
Report Check-InLooks like they’ve renewed the fancy pit toilets. Please close the lid folks…the stink stack won’t work if the toilet is open.
Nice spot. Road noise was no more than a distant distraction.
If you have a dream where you wake up and are surrounded by parked cars, blame it on your bedtime snack. It’s not real.
Report Check-InLOUD! Logging trucks all night long. Often times sounded like a fighter jet taking off right over our truck. Do not recommend.
Report Check-InGreat spot for an overnight! lots of options for parking. we had a 20 foot trailer that we could back right into a carved out campsite. others were parked along tree line and in parking spots. Vault toilets clean and easy to get to. Sat by the boat ramp and saw 2 bald eagles and an Osprey.

Report Check-InJust as reported- right in the lake and a little loud with traffic, but we’ll appointed with tables, garbages and a toilet. There are no signs prohibiting overnight stay, and I spent a very rainy night here instead of driving.
Report Check-InNice big camping spot by Matapedia Lake. Picnic tables, garbage cans, gazebo and swing. Right off 132 so car noise. We have a well insulated Campervan so it won’t bother us. This place is a real gem

This location is open and marked correctly. A bit noisy with traffic going by but perfect for a one night stop
