Nice, small state park overlooking a lake. Covered picnic tables, level gravel sites, pit toilet, great views. Potable water available.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Nice campsites near a lake, with a trail attached to the campground. Clean, with good cell reception. Looks like all the campsites are reservation only, and were booked a few days in advance, so we didn’t stay.
Report Check-InReserve America shows this park to be closed for the season. That's not true, they just went to first come first serve. They may actually close in the winter, but since there is a ski area just down the road, maybe not. Still a beautiful spot and $10 per night.
Report Check-InRESERVATION ONLY AND NO CELL SERVICE! MUST RESERVE IN ADVANCE FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Park host told me all NM parks have gone to reservation only. It is really difficult in locations with no cell service (such as this one)
Report Check-InBeautiful campsites with covered picnic tables, potable water available, and vault toilets. No trees, but has mountain/lake view. $10 per night if you drive up, or around $14 if you reserve online! Leashed dogs allowed, lots of prairie dogs/chipmunks.
Report Check-InSooooo peaceful and beautiful. Views of big wide open vista. Trails. Nicely organized camping, easy to pull into. Each has a fire pit and covered bench. Clean pit toilets. Water sources. There were only a few RVs there. Many people come to fish. Loved it there.
