Latest Check-Ins

Overrated. The resort looks unkept. No lights or hotwater in the bathrooms. Electric outlets at campsites not working. Barbecue grills are full of old coals. The pools were still in good condition though. For us the price of 1400 pesos per night for 2p and a car was way too much.

Report Check-In

Everything as decribed before. We stayed three nights (off season) and it was very calm and quiet. We enjoyed the wonderful pools and the surroundings. The host Ralf is very friendly and helpul.
NOTE: If you find a sign at the beginning of the gravel road, that the Termas are closed, use the number on the sign (+598 99 784994) to confirm. When we came it was open although.

Report Check-In

Prices are now 500 pesos pp and 400 for a car or camper. The warm pool is 37.5C.

Report Check-In

The thermal baths and the campsite is now open again after a long time (Pandemic). Very spacious and quiet. In the middle of nature. We were completely alone.

Report Check-In

Stayed here on sunday (very busy) and monday (almost empty). Nice place to relax, but two days was enough.

Report Check-In

Very nice place to stay. Green Camping with BBQ, clean toilets and warm showers, a cold and warm pool is included in the price and at night it is wonderful to take a warm bath under the stars. There are a lot of animals, pampas foxes passed by, parrots and a lot of birds in the trees. We enjoyed our stay as a family and recommend it.

Report Check-In

What a wonderful place to stay for a couple of days and „recover“ from traveling! We spent there 5 nights with our two kids and during the week we mostly had the pools all for ourselves. Especially at night a magical experience!

Report Check-In

Excellent place to relax and enjoy the pools and the wild animals

Report Check-In

We couldn't help ourselves: on our way from Mendoza to Porto Alegre, we had to stop for two nights. No trouble leaving this time - it rained that morning.

Paid 1000 CLP for two in a roof tent for two nights.

Report Check-In

Nice, clean a good place to rest after long travels. 800 pesos for 2 persons + vehicle

Report Check-In

I find it a bit overrated. The price is now 300 pp plus 200 car.
Pros:
clean facilities
good wifi
quiet
Cons:
rubbish lying around
pools are not clean
they mow the place only from time to time and leave the hay rotting on the sites.

Off-season other thermas closer to the main road might be a better option

Report Check-In

Wonderful place to spend several days. Price was 700 Pesos for 2 people with a car.

Report Check-In

The most beautiful campground, definitely 4-star ****. Like others, ended up staying longer than planned.

Price is still U$250pp + U$200 for the camper, no matter what size. They told me same price all year and any day of the week. This is what I paid on mid November weekend.

They even have firewood stacked between the individual camp slots.

Termas are of course the typical South American "family friendly" warm pools 80s - 90s °F (30s °C), not hot springs ( I like ~115°F ~45°C).

Report Check-In

Warning: this place is hard to leave. We came for 2 nights, stayed 6.

Perfect sites (lawn mowed, concrete fireplaces with wood included, reasonable size, electricity), excellent, well-cleaned bathrooms and showers, and of course: two thermal baths - one 'cold', one 'hot'.

Pretty good WiFi available near pools. (But I did see a pole being erected near the campsites - for another one of those POE MESH WiFi access points installed throughout?)

Very quiet at night. During weekends and holidays many day-time visitors (willing to share a beer). Music (at any volume) NOT allowed.

The owner obviously cares deeply about this place and his work shows in many little details.

Price (two people, roof tented vehicle) 900 UYU on weekends and holidays, 700 UYU on weekdays. Good price for unlimited meditation sessions in a quiet, warm environment. VISA accepted, too.

Report Check-In

Wonderfull place like other coments. 200 p/p + 200 RV Pesos UY. No covered swming pools.

Report Check-In

Fantastic place all to ourselves. Clean facilities and looked after by two dogs. Lots of wildlife to admire. Two pools - one cold, one warm. 750 pesos for two people plus camper per night.

Report Check-In

Very nice campground. Power, water, fireplace, table on site.
Very clean toilet and shower.
24 hours use of thermal pools.
750uyu.

Report Check-In

As mentioned by others a very nice campsite. About 25 kms from Salto and 13-14 kms down a dirtroad. Amazing wildlife, foxes, Nandus, Iguanas, peacocks etc. Campsite is actually 1,5 kms from the reception and restaurant. Facilities fairly new and clean. Average and patchy wifi though when I visited. 250 Uruguay pesos pr night for one person/one tent/one motorbike. Recommended!

Report Check-In

As everyone said: an amazing place! We had the place for ourselves and were carefully watched over by the 2 sweet dogs. We paid 500 pesos for 2 people and a rooftop tent. The owner is very friendly and helpful and speaks perfect English. The cold water pool was closed for maintenance but the warm pool is very nice and warm! A must-stop on your travels through Uruguay :-).

Report Check-In

The real deal. 700 pesos for a camper and a family. Fresh water and electricity at sites. WiFi at the pools, best on the bench next to the payphone.

Absolute tranquility during off season. Thousands of birds, fixed and two friendly dogs. Clean showers and bathrooms. A few families and gay couples during the day. The dirt road is ok but takes longer than Google suggested, around 50 minutes. Visa accepted.

Report Check-In

Nice, relaxed quiet place to stay. Price was 250 pp and 200 for the car. They have two swimmingpools, but one was closed.

Report Check-In

I paid 250, the car was free. The owner speaks perfect English.I stayed on my own, had the superb showers and toilette to myself. If you don‘t feel like cooking there is a hotel about 1 km from the campsite. The prices are reasonable.

Report Check-In

Per night they charge 250 pesos per person and extra 250 pesos per car. No bargaining.

Report Check-In

Definitely worth the hype! We usually prefer to wildcamp, but for U$200pp (there was no mention of paying extra for the car) we couldn't pass up on this one.. The pools are located in the camping area, the facilities are modern and clean, and each camp site has a potable water faucet, grill, and firewood. We had an amazing time here and can see why people stay longer than planned. Be aware of your belongings if you go for a dip at night.. a cheeky fox stole one of my jandals (flip-flops) while we were swimming and I was too slow to catch him!

Report Check-In

very nice campground. we stay here in low season and we were alone. We pay 200 pesos each person and 200 for the truck. electricity and water are included. really good Wi-Fi. toilet are ok, there is also the paper.

Report Check-In

Agree with everybody. Second time here, it's 1 of the most amazing campgrounds of our trip. Can't believe we were alone again, only the 3th day there were other overlanders. This is a place you will remember and in our opinion a must visit, even if it means you have to drive some extra miles!!

Report Check-In

ohhh this place is a gem! great facilities, perfect water and so cheap for what it is! in off season only locals chill here and in the night and in the morning you're probably going to be on your own there! we spent our time here on a weekend so I suppose during the week you'll have the entire place for yourself! btw the care keeper is a super friendly guy, if you have any problems he will try to help you!

Report Check-In

Agreed with everything bellow. Two days became easily 4 days. Very very nice place to relax!! Get all you need in Salto there is nothing. We did loundry for 280pes! Nice people

Report Check-In

I loved this place. A hot pool only for us, under the stars. I recommended. 200 pesos for person, plus 200 for the truck. With great bathrooms and all of them you want .

Report Check-In

this place is just wonderful, everything the other said is true (big campsites with own bbq, water & table & wifi) don't forget to bring meat and enough food, you will stay longer then planned!! on this time no people here, so you have everything for your own!! it's a must do!!

Report Check-In

This place is in wrong location - it is located at -31.54575, -57.80271

Report Check-In

Yes, this place is really amazing. It's like owning your own big landscape with your own termal pools. Nobody else here, it is our favorite termas after visiting Termas Guaviyú and Termas Arapey. If you like nature, silence, relaxing by your own, you are fine here. 2 Pools about 40 and 30 Celcius, big enough for swimming and warming up, we enjoyed. Payed 200 each and additional 200 for the 7 m Camper.

Report Check-In

Been here a week now. Good place that attracts new age types due to history of UFO events and proximity of Aurora spiritual center. Lots of wildlife including foxes, skunks. iguana and many birds including green parrots. Probably best camping of 15 month moto trip. Town of Salto 20 k away nothing special but has mall and shopping. Get food before coming here....there is nothing in the way of a shop. Owner very friendly with interesting past in high tech. You can rent a tiny cabin for camping fee of 200pp +400...so for 2 people that would be 800 total. WiFi is very good if you sit under the big
covered area farthest from the pools.

Report Check-In

Almost worth coming to Uruguay just to camp here...so peaceful and the 2 swimming pools of thermal water are a great place to stargaze. Unlimited free hardwood for grilling and water at every site. Lots of birds and parrots. As most locals take holidays at the beach this place is rarely busy and a huge property so very quiet. Be sure to bring everything you need from Salto or the shop just n of the roundabout. The 12 km unpaved road is easy. Don't miss this place!

Report Check-In

Lovely and quiet in the middle of nowhere. Stock up before you come here! We paid 200 Uruguayan Pesos each to camp.

Report Check-In

200 per person per night for tent camping. 250 is for holidays. We stayed 8 nights and through Christmas but received the 200 per night for all nights. There is a covered area with tables and benches near pools that has decent wifi. Bathrooms are huge and beautiful. Each toilet in the ladies also had counter and sink. If you are lucky there is a single palapa structure to put a tent under. We weren't lucky. The camping area extends down two sides of the complex so worthwhile to explore for best spot. Fred firewood to use on the grills.

Campground by the hot termas. 250 pesos per Persion. Directly by the to warm pools. Nice view. Own azado place for every car. Take a 12km dirt Road from ruta 3 to get there
