----
Free camping beside Inks Lake. Turn off Lac Le Jeune Road and drive 0.3km west on an old mining road to the camping area on the right (north). Big rigs will have to park on the old mining road (lots of room) as the access road to the camping is steep.

As of today this place has officially been closed down by the RCMP. Apparently this is private property and people have been camping and squatting here illegally for quite some time. We stayed here last year and is awesome spot we came back here again this year and were evicted by the RCMP and the municipal by law-enforcement. So sad to see such a nice place taken over

Report Check-In

Lovely little spot by the lake, lots of camping on the lower level as other comments said, but the road around there, through the trees is pretty bumpy with deep tire tracks.

And yes, don’t listen to Google Maps! Make sure to take Lac le Jeune Rd! Either Exit 366 on highway 5 or exit 336 onto Meadow Creek rd (which becomes Lac le Jeune).

Report Check-In

This place is beautiful sadly however there is so much garbage and junk accumulating from irresponsible previous campers it is becoming an eye sore. Garbage everywhere and don’t walk into the woods ..feces everywhere

Report Check-In

Good spot by the lake, seems like lots of spots. Got here late but pretty nice. Lots of toilet paper spots but not a big deal.

Report Check-In

Came back again, stayed up top to avoid the crowd running their generator.

Report Check-In

As described, nice that it's free but be careful as you get to the campsites, there's broken glass and rusted bits of metal near some of the sites, don't want to puncture a tire. Lots of trash dumped here but also some nice clean spots.

Report Check-In

Dirty place, no swimimg, but good for nigt

Report Check-In

Calm place for the night. There are a few campsites available often with firepits.

Report Check-In

Great quiet spot on a small lake/pond. Be sure you come via Le Jeune Rd. (Do not let GPS try to access off BC 5-South that’ll take you to a ripped up ATV campground.)

Report Check-In

Nice and calm spot near a lake - not really for swimming. Lots of space, even big rigs can stay. Some fire pits.
