left our car in a parking space on the street for the day (which we paid in order for someone to watch our car). When we came back later in the evening, the mirror on the passenger side of the car had been stolen. The women watching the parking spaces said she hadn't seen anything.. very annoying.

Talked with many, many people in Pasto. They warned against parking/sleeping on the street or in parks. People are getting attacked in evenings even outside secure parking.
All recommended to stay in the north of town, in secure parking. North part of town is much more safe. Higher police presence.
