Description

Nicest winery we went to in town. Same family owns the cheese shop Cabra de Cafayate and also the Domingo Molina winery in the north. Cheese included in tasting. Currently four wines (+small goat cheese plate) for 50p/person. Very nice staff. Also you can sit on the outdoor patio near the vineyards while they bring you the wine and they leave you alone until the next glass. Loved the no rush approach. Definitely best value tasting.

Fantastic spot for either a wine tasting (3,000 peso). Or glass of wine and cheese board (5,000). Lovely setting and friendly staff

We tried to visit and do a tasting but they refused us because it was 4.10pm even though we could see the tour group outside. Make sure you show up 5 minutes before a scheduled tasting time if you want to visit! They won't do a tasting outside of listed times (pictured).

honestly I think the machine is difficult to use and totally tastes away from the ambiance of the place. the friendly guy that was giving us a small information tour (in English) before the tasting is standing there the whole time and could have easily done the pours. 3000p minimum to put onto to the card with tiny pours. it did come with a very yummy cheese plate with some crackers for free. I liked the wine here, but enjoyed the tasting tour at Nanni better. more wine and half of the price.

They now have a machine that lets you choose the wines you want to taste and the size of the pour. They give you a card that you use to get each pour and at the end you pay according to the pours and sizes you chose. Prices are all listed very clearly. Not as personal, but gives you more freedom. Cheapest pours are 100 pesos.

Now 70 pp for 4 wines and some goat cheese. As said before, very generous pours and a no rush approach. Beautiful views on the mountains. Not our favourite wines but the atmosphere was the best.

Arrived at 4:20 and joined a tour, 50pp and was a lovely tour with nice tastings. Bought a few bottles - truly lovely. The cheese (50% goat 50% cow) wasn't the best tbh.

We went here for the 4.15pm tour and we were the only ones which was great. Tours are 50 pesos per person still including a tour if the winery, explanation of processes and tasting of 4 wines plus cheese. Our guide asked us if we preferred sweet or dry. Good portions. Very relaxed. We bought a Torrontes reserva for 120 pesos and the cheese was fantastic (costs 175 pesos per pound). Many wines available to buy in their shop ranging from 90 to 250 pesos (I think) or a little more for large bottles of table wine. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff, generous pours at the tastings, and plate of goat cheese included in tasting (cheese is also made by same family at Cabra de Cafayate), and you can sit outside at a patio table while they give you time to enjoy the wine. Other wineries do tastings indoors and you feel rushed. But if you want a relaxing, enjoyable place in town to do a tasting, come here. Currently 50p/4 wines but as mentioned, generous pours. We also recommend the Molino winery to the northwest; same family and same relaxed vibe, but different wines.

Nice tour, 50 pesos, normally 3 wines - we got 6 wines, girlfriend drunk :D, bought wine and cheese. 10/10 would do again :D

Did a tour for 20 pesos, they take you on a short tour of the factory. It was all in Spanish but still worth it. At the conclusion they gave you a wine and cheese tasting (3 wines) Really cheap tour and nice and simple just 1 hour long. I also took part in the degustation tour an additional 70 pesos, 4 wines and a cheese platter. Prefer the whites over the reds. And that's coming from a red drinker. An easy stroll into town so nice and close.

Free wine tasting.....great wines for price of 2 buck chuck in the USA. The Torrents is exclusive to this region and my new favorite white wine. This place also has the best prices for wine in town....discovered that the 32 peso bottle of Torrenes sells for 16 USD in the USA....drink up!!!
