Report Check-InThey will no longer fill portable cylinders of any kind at this plant; neither will Abastible or Gasco at their plants. If you have a portable cylinder, and cannot switch to a Chilean one, your only option, in this area at least, is Autogasco, for which you need the proper adapter; or do it yourself or find someone who will do it outside of regulation.
Report Check-InWe had our Canadian Gas cylinder filled here within three minutes. Current price 5kg for 5.999CPS. Super friendly staff. Lunch break is between 1pm and 2pm.
Report Check-InWe could not fill our German fixed tank nor our gas bottle here. Even though we had all the adapters with us, they said it does not work. We were at Gasco Autogas (own entry) and had a refill in 2 minutes.
Report Check-InAt 12:30 on a Monday, paid 2.310 CLP to top up American tank. They checked the date of the tank fabrication to ensure it was within regulation (not sure what the date is— ours is about 3 years old.) About a 30 min wait. Friendly staff.
Report Check-InFilled up propane gas bottle (US Standard 1 gallon).
Price 1'300 CLP for 2 kg.
Good service.
You only can refill an European bottle with adapter at the left entrance. Don't worry if they tell you they can't because not everybody who is working there knows that it is possible. Just ask different persons who are passing by. We payed 685 pesos per liter. For an 11kg bottle we payed 11000 pesos.
Report Check-InThere are two entrances. One is for autogas which will fill a fixed tank. The other is for filling bottles. Talk to the guy in the booth. We paid 6500 pesos for 11 liters or 6kg
