We may use your email address to communicate with you about issues with any of your submitted data (points or check-ins), or critical updates to our services. We may also contact you with marketing material which may be of interest, but only with your consent. This publicly visible data may be searchable by search engines and be shared with or disclosed to third parties.
iOverlander may use third party service providers to provide or perform services on our behalf. In these cases, we may need to share your data with them. Our service providers, vendors and contractors will only be allowed to process data in accordance with our prior written instructions.

Determining and sharing your location
Some features and functionality in our apps may require that you provide your location. We use this data to tailor our services to your current location (i.e. we show you a list of nearby locations). Other than in an anonymized or aggregated form, your location is never shared with others, except with your consent.
Each of your check-ins is saved to your "Check-in History," which allows you to look back at the locations you have checked in since you created your account. You can delete any of your check-ins from your My Account page on the iOverlander website. For assistance removing your account and data please see “How do I access or delete my data?” below.
