Within the parking lot there is a smaller fenced in parking with a security guard always watching. In this area they said it is save to leave the car alone in the other part of the parking it is better if one stays in the car.

Boat launching area. Large parking area for cars plus a separate large parking area for boats with trailers. Has a tiolet block plus 4 pit tiolets. Only 1 pit tiolet was unlocked when we were there. There are picnic tables by the river. No TMobile signal.

We were looking for a spot to let the dogs run and stop for the night. Spotted this as we were driving through. Two other locals letting their dogs run when we got here, and two trucks with trailers for boating/fishing. Plenty of room here to have a nice spot for overnight and beautiful river view. Entrance from the road is a little off camber and could be muddy depending on rain. it was fine and hard packed for us driving in with our short bus and 14ft trailer.

Geologist cabin under one of the peaks of Panamint Mountain overlooks the Death Valley at the east. At the elevation of 4100 feet, it has a mild temperature in the middle of May. There is a pit toilet on site. No water. The plate on the ground says, " Welcome. In the spirit of the Old West, please leave it better than you found it."

Only open on weekends and you need to reserve your tour ahead of time. However for 20$ per person I would not recommend this tour. You get absolutely no explanation on the rum creation process. The entire tour is dedicated to the glory of the Flor de Cana company (history, owners). Certainly would not recommend, especially with kids.

We came to this restaurant. We enjoyed all their food. We noticed they had rooms. We asked to use the showers. We were charged COP$20K for the 2 of us. A bit expensive, but very convenient. Showers were hot, but you need to make sure to ask for them to turn on the water heater...hahaha

Richard is very knowledgeable on cars. A local Shop owner from Aguacatera who owned a 4runner recommended Richard name. I came here and he was able to diagnose the brake issue immediately. He does not know English but we were able to communicate through translator. Highly recommend Richard for the car repairs
He has adjacent hotel too where you could stay for the night.
Since my brake Master cylinder needed the electrical repairs so he had his son take me to Louis Carlos shop, Taller Eurocar (pin added) so he can scan, diagnose and repair the master cylinder. At the end of the day, he did not ask for labor but just said w b atever proposal is worth to you. I gave him 27000 pesos.

An ideal place to stop for a few days halfway between the borders of Togo and Benin. Beach with palm grove, beautiful view, rest area and excellent food and cold drinks at a cheap price. Friendly and helpful staff. Bungalow on the beach and for overlanders it’s possible to sleep in the fenced parking using electricity (you must have a long enough cable), outdoor shower, toilet, water supply. Area for washing clothes and hanging them under the palm grove. Price per night 3000 CFA per person to sleep in your vehicle and use the services.

Quiet spot among sparse trees that backs up to a pretty little rock bluff with beautiful morning views. Site has a stone fire pit and is right near a salt lick for the roaming cows (which we heard in the distance but didn’t see after the drive in). Just off the main dirt road, definitely room for an RV, would need a little bit of leveling. Site is on a very slight hill.

water is nowhere to be found. Just river.
I walked around the whole park and nothing. Coordinates are basically at the central junction.

Feels like the comments were from some other place...

I've mapped the whole park with all amenities in OSM. No water anywhere at all, just river. Two restrooms with pit toilets and two trash containers. 21 picnic table with either fire fits, bbq or both. Almost all tables are covered.

The most secluded is #21, go left at the junction and as far as possible.

A lot of day users at least on Friday afternoon, but most are leaving in the evening. Sheriff has passed by around 7pm on Friday, but said nothing.

Cell coverage is so-so, few bars of 4G and 5G with US Mobile, but had issues with video. Browsing and e-messaging is fine.

Not sure why does one need "largest", if you're staying at Cedar Creek park, the Dollar General is less than 10 min drive from there... Way closer than this point...

Nice shady Street just down from planet fitness. Dead end Street that goes to a landscaping company.
I use this for telecommuting on a Saturday and only one car came down and turned around and a person walked through the area.
Good cell reception. It is close to the highway but it sounds more like white noise than individual cars, and was perfect for a day of telecommuting.
