Description
Parking next the the Archeology Museum in the city center. It is guarded (at least from 8:00 to 23:00) and cost 10 Lira / day. (20TL in November 2022) We asked the guard if we can sleep here, no problem. We did not ask for toilets (there has to be somewhere for the guards) but there is a Restaurant/Cafe in the museum, and the museum itself has toilets too available during opening times. On the other side there is a huge mall with ATMs, Migros and everything else you might need. 10 minutes walk to the holy places and the castle. It was quiet in the night, some people walk by next to the museum. 4G on Turkcell.

Not a beautiful place but it can be useful. The cost now is 50TL for "caravans" (our defender was considered a caravan). The mall is open and it's possible to use its bathroom but the museum is still closed. The guards told us that it will open again maybe in 2 months.

The fee to stay overnight is now TL 20. The security guys are very friendly. There is a park right next to it - ideal for walking the dogs. A fence surrounds the parking lot and there was only little noise during the night.
