Lukas is great! he knows what he is doing, he is cheap and he spent a lot of time explaining to me what i need to check in the future and how it works.
the kind of mechanic you dream to find.
i still send him some pictures when I need an advice.
i'll recommend him 1000%

Very friendly, Luka ( son of Wally) help us for few problems ( lights, sound bad...) he explain us in english and spanish. No charge a lot. 💛

Great job done by those guys. They spent nearly two hours to check our problem (injection sensor) despite the fact they were very full. They asked 2000 pesos. Recommend this mechanic.

Super mécanicien, très aimable et professionnel.
Nous étions plusieurs Overlanders et Lucas nous a pris en charge très efficacement :
- Remplacement d'un support de moteur fatigué par la tôle ondulée sud-américaine
- Réparation (soudures) de notre plaque de protection moteur.

Nota : Après analyse du problème et essaie du véhicule Lucas vous envoie acheter la pièce de rechange chez l'un des nombreux Repuestos de la ville.

Really friendly and nice guy and most importantly very honest.
He checked our car and told us what he think the problem is, and explained why. He speaks some English and we some Spanish so we managed to understand each other. His advice was to wait and get it fixed in Chile because parts in Argentina and especially here (or anywhere far from Buenos Aires) are very expensive. He said it's not a major problem and ok to wait a bit.
He also fixed a bad connection that caused our speaker not to work. Overall he spent with us about 40 min and only charged 200 ARS and mentioned that he would have settled for a beer.
As described below look for a metallic gate with blue GTX sprayed on it.

This guy does a great job and is very friendly!! I came Friday afternoon and he drove around with me to find the right spare part. Then opened the whole engine and fixed it (including some other parts) till Saturday afternoon. Paid 150 US Dollars.

saturday afternoon gate locked but after asking around willy turned up. required new 24 truck battery. Willy drove us around we found one and he installed. great guy great service. just up the road from camping El Niriguao.

Willi has also a portable welding device. Has no problem to weld smaller issues at the street.

The nicest guys ever! We needed new transmission fluid and we don't speak great Spanish so they drove us to our campsite (just down the road), looked at our car to understand what we were saying, drove us to the YPF to buy our own fluid $12 US for 2L (so no up-charge and WAY cheaper than in the US). Then they towed our car to their place so they could jack it up, removed our skid plates, and pumped new fluid into the system. They read through our Toyota manual to make sure they'd done it correctly and then took it for a test drive. $50!!!! Which we thought was great. Plus they shared their beer with us while the boss man did his work :) Amazing people and the best experience we could have hoped for.

Helpful mechanics. The break makes a noise and he checked it and we got for a drive. The little noise is still there. He said because of the dusty roads but it's not dangerous. Hopefully he is right. We paid nothing, I gave a tip.

Friendly and competent mechanic helped us fix our tensor. Even on a saturday. Metallic gate on the right hand side with a Blue "GTX" sprayed on it.
