This is sort of a formal campsite at the beach next to a restaurant. You can swim
in the sea . It can be a little busy with Turkish campers but is a convenient site to stay.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
@ Admin: Open again, as a matter of course.
Jandarma drive by a couple of times a day. No problem to camp at the access road.
In the shoulder seasons there is plenty of space (for a not too big rig), in the afternoons it usually fills up, until late.
There are some restaurants directly at the waterfront, all with mixed reviews.
Report Check-InClosed gate made it impossible to enter the area where this spot seems to be. A woman, living behind the gate, told us: no camping allowed. Our Turkish is not existing, so we could not get aditional info.
Report Check-InWhen we entered the area Jandarme police came behind us to tell us it is closed.maybe because of season. Maybe permanent. They couldn’t tell us
Report Check-Inbeautifully view ,cool for swimming,no shower at this time.
easy route.
Car camping in the small parking area of the rocky headland or tent camping on the small hill above (some flat spots but heaps of rubbish). Very nice swimming off the rocks with a ladder closer to the lot entrance. Local Turkish caravans set up for the season - super friendly - shared a hookah evening together and went to the nearby cove where there is very cold fresh water mixing with the salt water. Cheap restaurant and small beach at the cove. Very local and lovely spot- nice go get away from the mass umbrella beach tourism nearby
Report Check-InGreat spot!!! Some Turkish campers who "guard " a little bit the place. Ask at one of them for the key of the toilet
They're also very helpfull.
Couple of times a day the police came to check if everything is OK on this campsite. Also a lot of couples come here for their weddingshoot
we stayed here a couple of days.
No beach, but rocks and very beautiful. Get's crowded in the afternoon. If you have a 4x4 you can drive up the hill. Many cool places on top.
