Nice little parking area for rock climbers and just a very short distant away from Mt Rushmore. There are a few flat and level spots, perfect for camper vans but not big rv.

great place to sleep but I don't know if you can no longer have a sign saying you can't overnight so we sleep in a beautiful, quiet and safe place

Best burger place in town. The place concept is unique, they play rock & metal songs in playlist

2km up from the pass of the main road you reach a grassy hill with a perfect panorama view to the national park. Highly recommended especialy when the weather is good. Can be reached also by non 4x4. Some locals come to camp nearby too.

Spent the night here while visiting Seaside,Or. its by the side of road, parking spot. There were many RVs from buses to camper vans parked.
Minimum road noise, 3 bar cell coverage on TMobile.

Cannon marking the spot were two Creusot cannons (Long Toms) were put up by the Boers where a shoot-out took place between them and the English cannons of General Buller. Great views of the surrounding valleys below! No facilities.

Camp site with a small hut and fire pit. Right next to the lake. Only accessible by 4x4, bike or walk. There is a small park spot for 2-3 cars next to the road ahead. Several spots for tents. There are several bushes with blueberries around.

Long stone road with many small and large camp spots. Road a little rough but not bad. Some big rigs up here. Close to a 14er. Great views, quiet, peaceful.

With Corona low season (only 3others) the place was very neat.
€20 per night with 2+2 kids, internet, electric and RTT.

With the ever changing Corona rules we we were a bit concerned, but no problems at all. Dutch passports, Dutch car.
Passports + green card, that's it. No questions asked where we had been before (Bosnia is on the yellow list..).
Took us 3 min.

Was at this location, did not stay. Very small spot and neighbours on one side of street seemed unhappy with people parking there.

As described, best spot ever! No signs, summer and several campers here and along the road, nobody bothered on. a Saturday night or Sunday morning by 10 AM. Quiet road and.... just at sight of the sea lions!

Free sani-dump. Kind of hard to find, no signage. Two water pumps but second doesn’t say “potable”?
Free, no signage, no need to buy gas there too.

Hole in the ground drain to empty your tanks with a functioning faucet, no hose. Does the job
