Beautiful campground, two spots overlooking the water. the road in is a little sketchy looking but fine. we paid 10,000 (20usd) for one night for two people. Shower was cool but refreshing. lots of birds in the trees!

When we arrived we whatsapped the number on the door, and he was out so we went to the pier to walk around. There was a curise ship parked and lots of street food.

His number is +506 6335 6186. originally from Wisconsin. his girlfriend offers breakfast for 3,000, but we were trying to use up food so we didn't take it.

On a Sunday no one was here but a lady. After some chatting she told me I could set up camp in the police office. Kitchen and Bathroom still available. Wi-Fi really good.

Stayed here on the way south for about 2 1/2 weeks. Water is beautiful, restaurants have good food and sometimes music. There are days of wind and then days of calm. I suggest you turn left when you come in and go as far as you can to avoid the “V” cut between mountains if wind bothers you. Some complain it is crowded, but even though I like the solitude of some places, Santispac can be very social and fun. Many friendships were forged here. So, on my way north I stopped again for a few days. Enjoying walking the beach and socializing again! Rent a paddle board or kayak and visit the little island to see various organisms in the clear water. If you can get on a boat in the morning there are large pods of porpoises a little further out in the bay. Enjoy!

It was a strange experience. haven't driven miles and miles , I was expecting to pay and sleep and rest but instead I had to troubleshoot the different App issues and hear about the fine-tuning of the check in. price was really high compared to the 10 or twelve euros mentioned on the apps. this listing should be removed

Posto 24h com estacionamento gigantesco, fechado e pago, mas o preço é ótimo e justificado pela segurança oferecida. Tem restaurante, banheiros e chuveiro. Sem estrutura específica para motorhomes, como tomadas e ponto de água.

Paraguay --> Argentina. I had a super easy crossing with my motorcycle there. You can forget the old buildings on the Paraguay side. They intelligently placed them all in one building on the Argentinian side. Jump the car que and park your motorbike right where the guys are inspecting the cars crossing. There are even dedicated Moto parking spot in the shade. Super cool!

Stamped out of Paraguay at one window. Into Argentina in the next. Handed in the TIP at a little camper and then new Argentina TIP in the air-conditioned office with a super nice younger guy with glasses that even spoke English. 100% great experience. Why can't all crossings be this simple?

Pro-tip:
Be a polite, respect their laws (like no food), and above all, be courteous gringo ambassador, and they will be courteous as well.

UPDATE.
Going to cross again tomorrow and will update if anything has changed.
