No problem to enter the side from west. Good drivers will do it without 4x4. This petroglyphs are surrounded by very nice camping spots inside of the mountains, some without trash. 😊

Limited access, southern end of long beach. You can only get here on foot from the beach. From the road can only be accessed by 4x4 by a steep rocky path. NB! Access only with a serious 4x4, low gear, high ground clearance and reduced tire pressure required. The place is worth the effort.

Level and smooth car park, mostly gravel, some tarmac, next to the zoo. No facilities except for an 'attendant' who will help you park and ask for a donation. Seemed happy with €3. Quiet at night, coaches use the car park in the mornings to deposit school trips to the zoo.

here you can find a water tap with parking space. dont park at the street, but inside the parking place! pressure is okay.

Very poor condition hotel in my opinion. Rooms were a little dirty and not very well kept with a broken chair, a fridge that didn't work, AC that fell apart when I touched it and a tap in the sink that almost broke when I used it too
paid 7000 for the double room - electric only worked from 7pm to 6:30am and the room was so hot! multiple electric cuts through the night
Aggressive receptionist banged our door at 9pm to demand payment but finally accepted me paying in the morning

there was secure parking and security apparently and nothing was touched. Very close to the road so super noisy through the night, bring ear plugs!
overall I wish we didn't stay here but its a very cheap convenient place

also restaurant was not operational and there was no WiFi

Lovely location. Parked up along river bank to enjoy the estuary tides , bird life and scenery. Tranquil. locals fishing no problem. sadly for us geological museum closed at weekends off season.

We payed 6.000 for 25 GB/1 month + 2.000 for the card.

It’s a lovely place. Hippos right in front of you. Nice ablution block. Water tap, fire place, table and little huts for shade at camp sites. My favourite campsite in Namibia so far.

A small golf with nice black sand. Early on summer or end of spring is a quiet place to rest and swim. You will find a parking for your camper as is flat. There are 3 km of bumpy road which can be passed with 2WD with caution. No water or any other utilities so be prepared. On the begin of the road there is a tavern if you like to taste local food.

It was quite easy to get the visa with the residency card. on Saturday they are open untill 12:00.

Here is Yhovana's office, she is a veterinarian, and mainly takes care of the procedures for obtaining an international Zoosanitary certificate, she offers :
- Do all the procedures for you and present it yourself to the Senasag office. (600bs/animals)
- Support you in your procedure so that you can do it yourself (150bs/Animals + 10bs for photocopies)

In both cases she will carry out a veterinary visit to your animal and provide you a veterinary certificate if everything is in order + a photocopy of her senasag accreditation which is obligatory for the procedure.

(in order to make you pay 800bs/animal most veterinarians in Cochabamba will not provide you a copy of their accreditation under false pretenses. The senasag we have confirmed that the copy accreditation must come with the veterinary certificate)

Très bel endroit tranquille avec accès à la rivière. Nous y avons passé la nuit.

Very nice beach front park. 50 amp plugs so bring an adapter. Staff very helpful. 600 pesos per night... no negotiating.

we stay one night.Free from 18 h to 8 a.m. Perfect place to overnight. Some noise up to 12 p.m. due to customers of restaurants. Also planes landing at Boston Airport

Head east into the riverbed and follow the narrow 'track'. After a few hundred metres, it will leave the riverbed again, and you'll find some nice level spots. Only some cows around. Not much shade, but good for a night.

Take the dirt road in the right curve to the left. After a couple of minutes you reach the top and a whole scala of valleys opens up to you. The snow was melting making the road a bit slippery but perfectly doable with our 2wd sprinter. It’s not that steep and the stones keep your tires on track. We found a small patch of grass just of the dirt track with the five valleys before us. Breathtaking views. Might be windy so best to do with calm weather. 4G signal available. We saw a couple of sheep in the distance but that was it.

Large Parking directly at the seaside between main road and the black Sea. Within walking distance to the Main Shopping area.
No amenities at all. Restaurant near by.

Budget accommodations - relatively clean rooms, AC, restaurant on-site, friendly staff, semi-secure parking in hotel lot with 24 hr attendant CCTV.
I paid 1200 INR.

We did a one day trip to the falls with James.

All went well. He picked us up in time with a small bus which he drove all the way to the falls and back. On the bus were one other couple and a father and son.

We left Kasane at 7:30 am and departed from the falls at 4 pm. You got enough time to do several activities and visit the falls.

The price was 400 pula pp.

Enjoy :) and don’t book the expensive tours.

Stayed here for two nights. Sites are rather small and right next to each other. Nights are quite after 10 - 11 pm.

Not perfect, but good for sleeping in transport terminal, Because our bus started in 4 AM.

Rooms with fan. No running water, we used bucket for shower.
