Froila | We stayed here. We asked the guard and he said it was no problem for us to sleep in our van. The truckers bathrooms were closed, but the restaurant also has hostel rooms. We asked to use the showers and when we asked how much it was, they said, whatever we wanted to contribute. All clean and good. recommended. |

Blue Sky Adventures | Stayed one night no issue. Road was busier than expected but didn't bother us. There is also a train that passes 1.5 mile away that you can clearly hear the horn of. Wayside is "closed" this time of year, no winter plowing and the portable toilet is removed. This is also a rural residential area with about 5 houses within a quarter of a mile. Two directly across the street and on behind the Wayside. It might not be your thing to stay infront of people's houses but if you do be sure to be respectful. |

zuzu.belkova | mosque parking lot. we first tried the visitor center parking but they didnt let us park there because they have cameras there. not the quitest place but better then the street and also darker. there are toilets in the mosque. the ground is not asphalt - it's dirt - so potentially you could build a tent there.. |

hondafryk | We parked the car next to the toilet building. electricity from the next room. There are standing toilets and an open shower (no door, only cold water with a bucket). Everything is very outdated. You can only pay cash ($10pp). You can have dinner by the fire inside. Catfish TZS 18.000 p kg. (only choice you have) It's OK, but not special. Friendly staff. It's not your money worth. Cruiser is too heavy for the wooden bridge. You can only use a terrible 4x4 road next to the shops. |
