You will go about 7 miles down a fairly rough road, but it's not too bad if you take it slow and it's absolutely worth it! Stunning views on the drive in and at the camp site. You'll reach the first official campsite on hwy 8 with the signage, but if you keep going and take a left down 376, you'll find the clearing which is much larger and more tucked away. This site is a huge clearing with multiple fire pits and a creek across the road. There is a sign marking this as an official campsite. Had the whole place to myself. No reception with AT&T.

This is the entry point to the Hisma reserve into the neom fences. You can not stay overnight (opens at 8 am and closes at 7pm).

It is in the fenced area but you can enter in this area by a controlled gate (I put a gps point in iOverlander)

here you can hike up to the etna volcano. because the cable car is so expensive (50€), we just walked 2-3 hours up to the upper station. from there we walked another 1-2 hour up to 2900m. all for free. no guide or tour needed. another 2 hours down to the parking lot. yes, the trail starts under the cable car. you can see the hike on our IG

Worked like a charm. Its ACROSS the front of the Jiffy Lube. Blue spigot. can't miss it.

2nd time here, and the improvements are noticeable . Awesome and friendly staff and Wilma so helpful . Piet also so pleasant and accommodating and will definitely be back again.

you'll know you're in the right place when you see the streets filled with maybe a dozen scattered RVs. Closer to the mountain (the view over the fields is quite breathtaking) is quieter at night with less passersby. I've had no trouble at all here, even with painting, staining, cutting wood. Always clean up to receive no hassle. It's a great overnighter spot. I've run my dog up and down the streets and there's plenty of grass to prompt relieving of bowels. Overall, quiet area with some trees though no worry of solar panel obstruction. Industrial area of business tucked away next to agricultural area.

From Moz to eSwatini:
Super easy, very fast border crossing with little traffic.
Hassle-free stamp out in Moz. Warm and efficient welcome in eSwatini. One thing to note is that you can pay the 100 Rand/E road tax with credit card.

Lovely campsite 10 minutes from an amazing beach. Extremely efficient check-in, nice pool, restaurant, & grocery on-site. Quiet woodsy sites with & without electric. Bathrooms weren’t the cleanest, very old & somewhat creepy but fine. Reasonable price for 2 adults w electric (20€), arrived around 7pm mid-week in April & plenty of spots available. In summer definitely not as easy.

This is an RV park vs a campground. I arrived at this park and learned that you must have an RV to stay there. No car sleeping allowed. Although there is a multi sectioned sports field parking lot right next door that I stayed at overnight with no problems. No sign, saying you cannot park overnight

L’endroit est comme décrit, bon spot à 20 min à pieds du centre ville. Parking très fréquenté la journée (rempli) mais désert la nuit (nous étions le seul véhicule). Parking à nouveau plein au réveil, personne ne nous a rien dit. Toilettes accessibles dans le bâtiment blanc en face, fermé la nuit.

Standing in front of the blue house (public bathrooms), to the left there is a small stream flowing into the bigger one. Water is very clear and potable, as confirmed with local people.

Far too expensive for what is offered. April 2024 we are two motorcycles and wanted a private room. Were charged R180 and got the keys to a room with one large bed and two bunk beds a mini fridge, shower and toilet. Toilet water preasure is bad, water stopped working all together in the morning but we were leaving so didn’t bother to ask or complain. Went to a hotel the next night, paid R117 for something twice as good.

The prices are still the same: USD 10 for single persons or USD 15 for the matrimonial rooms.
Our room and also the bathroom was very clean. Hot shower and Wifi worked well.
They let us park our motorcycles (F800GS) inside behind the house. As the steps to get the bikes inside are quite high you can use the big stones which are laying around to build your way!
Dinner and breakfast were excellent!
Just to know: the 'real' village Baeza is a little bit further away (like 10min walking).
This hostel is in the older/ original village location.

Beautiful views, very quiet, close enough to Torrey to get decent cell service

Nice Ivorian restaurant, popular with locals. Different types of meat/fish with a variety of sauce.

sign says 8hr parking, would say it isn't enforced. lots of room for TT, motor homes, vans and cars. right next to highway and rails, very loud with traffic and trains all night. pit toilets only

Called to confirm it was ok. Lots of others in lot over night. Quiet, relatively flat, good Verizon signal.

Very big and good spot for big camper trucks, motor homes or vans. A good place as well for tents. Lovely views, and not far from the town. We were there alone, and no one came. Very quiet and peaceful. Recommend it!

Un sitio muy grande para camiones camper, autocaravanas o furgonetas. Un buen sitio también para carpas. Bonitas vistas y no lejos del pueblo. Estuvimos allí solos, muy relajados y seguros. Muy recomendable!
