Dormimos sobre la avenida del skatepark.
Hay un sitio con agua fría y caliente para el mate.
La policía pasa seguido. Es seguro y tranquilo.
Los fines de semana mucha gente.

Here starts the gravel road to Uvinza. The road is in pretty good condition at the moment of the post. We drove an average of 50 km/h, and we don’t drive fast, because we love our car. The road is under construction at the moment to get an upgrade to tar. This will take some time.

Would not recommend to camp here.
Our friends stayed there 2 nights, we stayed one night. The police officer came in the morning as someone complained about us staying there or especially that someone was naked in the night. But that was obviously not true. He also was not able to show us proof of this. So we left.

We guess our Chilenean plates were a huge offense for them.

A super private and quiet spot, 2WD green lane lined with Palmetto Palms and pines about 200m in. No trash, almost no road noise, not visible from the road. Enter the forest on the east side outside the fenced property following the track, no gate or signs. No turnaround at the end for anything bigger than a truck or van! Good cell service, no amenities. The birds sing their lullaby while I watch 2 dolphins feeding in the distance. Almost no bugs at the moment.

This is a quiet little clearing surrounded by pine trees on private property, which can be freely used with the owner's permission. The owner also travels the world by TLC. After coordination, they can provide access to electricity and shower facilities. Contact: +36 70 235 4589

Airbnb-style hotel we found through booking. Great location and value for money. We paid about 30 dollars for a large double room for two people. No parking but there’s a secured parking about 2-3 houses away from the theater that charged 15 BRL per day for a motorcycle.

I had to go to Goaso for work. The hotel is ok although not cheap (500 cedis per night, and if you need a receipt with VAT you'll have to add 100 cedis to that sum 🫤). The rooms are clean, with a TV (I didn't turn it on so I don't know if it works), AC and fan, a bathroom, a desk, and a double bed. They say there's WiFi but good luck on getting the codes, I tried multiple times without success (although this might have been due to an Internet celebrity being in the hotel the same time I was - I think they hogged the WiFi for their meetings or something ^^)
Anyway, breakfast is included and has toasts, beans, omelets, rice, fish, salad, a weird looking oatmeal thingy, tea and coffee. There's also plenty of space to park, so if you can sleep in your car it might be a good spot. But you can probably find cheaper options somewhere else in town.

Big open area on the lake. We had a beautiful full moon reflecting on the lake. Pit toilet is in A+ condition. Lots of water fowl and frogs. Good spot as many others closed at this time of year. No man made noise.

Beautiful spots all along this road with great views. No problem in a 2WD Promaster.

Tons of Living Biological Crust (aka Cryptobiotic soil crust) everywhere so don’t bust the crust! Be mindful of where you step and only drive on designated roads. It holds the desert landscape together, and can take up to 250 years to grow back. Really cool and important stuff!

Pack out all of your trash please.

Great location, overlooking a beach that s good for surfing, swimming and snorkeling near the islands at north edge. Only a handful of beach houses around. Hard drivable sand on the beach, access to the Quinta with any vehicle. The internet of the dome is very fast.
Heitor also helped finding a good mechanic in near city. 50 reais per night 1 person sleeping in car.

Just like the fist entry. Large area with pinion pine and some junipers. Scattered picnic tables. More like dispersed camping. Clean, zero trash, let’s keep it that way.
It’s a great place to camp.
Did not venture into the outhouse.
I was the only person here. Quite .

Wow! So thankful to the original poster who pinned this place. As mentioned, it's a family home that they've converted the front into an awesome coffee shop.

The owners are lovely, speak great English and very welcoming. fast WiFi, secure motorcycle parking inside, hot shower, fan in room. short walk from the centre.

they did us breakfast in the morning and it was brilliant!

Definitely recommend if you're this way!

There’s some small caliber brass near the fire ring. That and the obvious heavy use suggests that this is a spot for locals on the weekends. But, folks have been cleaning up this space, and it is a beautiful spot with La Sal Mountains in the distance. Stayed here two nights. I was alone.
