cheerfulbuffer37 | Great Tranquil sandy bushcamp with big trees for shade. Each stand has a braai bin. No electricity weak internet signal. Flush toilet with hot water donkey shower. Very friendly owner also gives a tour of mesosauros fossils. Will definitely like to camp here again. |

rawclass15 | great o wright spot. hot springs muddy and not to my taste but flat, silent, beautiful views. just dont approach direct from hwy 50. The correct way is via the hwy running north/south to Tonapah. Found this out the hard way. |

magnificentmask31 | Free picnic area. Tables, trash cans, grills, palapa (shade structure). Not much else. Replica stage coach stop was interesting for a few minutes. A butte right across I10 makes for an interesting view. No sign prohibiting overnight camping. It was 10 o’clock in the morning so I couldn’t stay and spend the night. |

pizzapxnk94 | Nice little spot. We stayed overnight and it was very peaceful.
Don’t forget there is camera because of people being disrespectful. So be Kind. And if anyone has a truck maybe we can remove this gross couch.? |

magnificentmask31 | Another nice Texas rest area. Trash cans, picnic tables, grills a bathroom with running water and this one’s far enough east that there are trees! Definitely worth a stop to spend the night. I was here quite early in the day, so I did not spend the night. I assume there’s probably quite a bit of road noise fromI10 |

saridawn | What a fabulous place to camp!! An oasis in the middle of the desert!! Ponds, trails, mountains, horses, donkeys, trees, showers, garbage, open skies….BLISS |
Spicer Ranch | 36.99346, -116.71628 | |
joybird | Nice spot! We had a quiet night without any problems. It’s right off the interstate but it’s far enough away the noise isn’t too much of a bother. The view isn’t anything to write home about but it’s a better night stay then the north bound story city rest stop that doesn’t allow overnights. What good is a rest stop if you’re not allowed to rest? |

magnificentmask31 | As others have said, really a nice place. Clean, views, comfortable. I picked up what tiny bit of trash I could find. Want to make sure this stays open to overnight RVers. Met Pat and Sandy, who are full timers for four months. Really nice people. |

walt | I’ve stayed here several times over the past few years. It’s BLM land so dispersed camping is fine. Drive past the big rigs and turn right before the cattle guard then go as far as you feel comfortable for privacy. Good AT&T LTE service. |

mysteriousspiral41 | great spot, little tricky getting to at night. there is a sign that says commercial vehicles only for parking right on the river from 6am -6pm. I stayed there overnight and had no issue. the parking lot just before that is open to whoever all day/night. train went by once at night and once in the morning. beautiful spot. |
