Update. The place is owned by Aníbal, a Peruvian enthusiastic guy who owns a safe storage for cars, vans and big motorhomes and a storage for motorbikes and gear. The TIP suspension and reactivation is totally facilitated as it takes just one hour to complete the paperwork. For long term storage the battery of the vehicle is connected to a battery maintenance charger system to preserve it in good condition. Mechanical assistance is available and he can take care of the car and fix it while you are away.
Anibal also helps with his address to receive parcels from abroad for travelers.
He has also helped overlanders in trouble with TIP paperwork, carta poder (power of attorney) and other legal issues.
Vehicle shipping service is also available now, either by sea or air to any country in the world.

Slept here for 2 quiet nights after we did not feel safe at Walmart with broken glass on the parking lot.

Stayed for 1 night, lots of trucks and vans, rvs. Quiet night. Infrastructure available like any other rest area but at this one 12 hour maximum stay. Felt safe.

I wasn’t able to withdraw money with my N26 Mastercard from this ATM, but managed at the ATM just a couple of meters further down the road (but charged a fee though).

Since I didn’t manage to get money from the Banco Union ATM with my N26 Mastercard, I tried this one and got 1500 BOB and paid ~49 BOB fee.

Very very busy place for boaters and bugs, but the stunning sunset and sunrise make up for it!

ARG->BOL: Very smooth and fast process for us and our campervan today. No cues at all. Took us roughly an hour. Thanks to the info and steps from Yolotabi.com, just a couple of posts below! The only paper they forgot to give us at the ARG immigration was the Passavant, which we needed for the BOL adouana. Paid 20 BOB for the certificación.

Nice lady inside said we could park along the side and we're not restricted to the few spots in back. Not the quietest place, true, but not really enough to be bothersome. Barely heard the train. Spots on the side were more level than the back.

a riverbed that unfortunately recently has been dug up and it's now very ugly.... mountains of gravel everywhere. cellphone reception with Claro varies from 1bar H+ to 3 bars 4G.

stayed one night due to a late dentist appointment. police circled the lot many times and saw us but did not speak to us. felt safe. pretty quiet. nice place to walk your dog (please clean up afterwards). best to be a little stealth here.

Nice campground, with convenient dump and water. In Sisters, Oregon. Walk to coffee, if that’s your thing.

great spot! very quiet, very chill. arrived after dark last night and saw no one until morning. a few people in and out of the lot throughout the day while i worked from here. no body came to chat or bother me about anything.

It seems like a miracle that there could be a hiding spot in this wide open area, but it is perfect, hats off for finding it! We had a relaxing afternoon watching the birds, and the night was quiet. The flat space is about one meter higher than the water, so you are technically not in the riverbed, but still low enough so be out of sight.
Shortly after dusk an elderly farmer couple worked a little bit on the adjacent field before going home. When we asked them they were fine with us camping one night with our tent. Very nice people, who were only bothered that we might get too cold in the night, so it felt quite safe.
River water seems rather polluted.

It doesn’t work without a password so you would need to go inside to get it.

It’s a decent campground. It’s wide open so no privacy. They have planted trees but they are still small. No laundry. No WiFi and my ATT had 1-2 bars. The KOA down the road has WiFi so bear that in mind. The camp host is nice, bathrooms and showers are clean, and the place is well taken care of. Fire pits are small with no grill.

Was trying to get to the up the hill campsite, google maps took me the wrong way! This site is equally as beautiful, and has an existing fire ring. Full 3g service with verison, fast video streaming speeds. Very isolated, not one around for miles. Road up here defiantly requires high clearance, would probably be better with 4wd but I was fine in my subaru. Road is very rutted so plants in the middle will scrape your undercarriage, beware.

$5 dump. Has a potable tap to fill the fresh water tank.
