You need a Discover Pass here. It's a hunting trail head. Overnight parking is fine. Quiet and flat

Found out from a local that the fairly new Petro Canada fuel station also provides propane fill up. Go inside and ask them to send someone to the propane tank.
This is a great location as it is the last Philip possibility before hitting the Stewart Cassier Highway.

Probably still the best deal in town, but this time we paid 1,200 pesos for a double room. First floor had excellent wifi. Hot water, good water pressure.

Good parking spot without much privacy. Lights on all night. Public toilets opened during the day, bring your paper. Avoid during the weekend because people come to party here… expect loud music.

Awesome place on an elevated cliff face overlooking a
Bore fed water hole. Lots and lots of elephants 🐘 coming & going all night 😬so makes sleep a little bothersome but a small price to pay for being in the wilderness, not over run with a lot of game, we saw a few Giraffe 🦒 & 1 Zebra & a few buck. But you could spend a week here just doing nothing as the only sounds you hear are the wildlife etc. some of the camp grounds could be a little bigger but apart from that it’s absolutely fantastic place.

The teleferico is open. $9/pp for foreigners for a roundtrip ride. Dogs under 30cm tall are free. Over 30cm are $5 roundtrip.

The Rucu Pichincha hike that starts at the top of this cable car is awesome training for altitude before Cotopaxi. You reach 4700 meters and it’s beautiful. Take the earliest ride up to ensure you have enough time before they close at 6pm. We took about 6-7 hours with loads of breaks. Pet-friendly hike.

Extraordinary beautiful spot near the lake. View on the mountains. Several other campers in the neighbourhood, but enough spots and far apart of each other. Fire rings available. Swimming possible as well. Well worth the effort of the 6 mile dirt road.

Okay place for the night. Stayed behind the playground. Visible from the village and pier, but nobody said anything.

This place is now in business. Paid 10k per person to camp. There are also a few tipis you can rent for I believe 60k total. It’s a nice place, but loud music from a restaurant in the touristic street during the night

Open space, lovely view of the lake; not too busy. Picked up some trash but not too much, great they have skips on site for dumping rubbish.

Quiet place to spend the night, during the day is busy, if you go on the weekend it's even worse, there's always an event and people park a lot in this place...

lugar tranquilo para passar a noite, durante o dia é movimentado, se você for no final de semana é pior ainda, sempre tem algum evento e as pessoas estacionam muito neste local... não tem nenhuma facilidade

Very open and clear skies, I saw the northern lights here. Super buggy though, and SO MANY ticks, probably relating to the swampy area nearby. People were driving their cars (and dirt bikes) up and down the road through the night. Still, a nice spot, at least by Minnesota dispersed standards.
