Few meters back there is an entrance to a forest camp.
Didn't go in but just wanted to locate this on the map in case people are looking for a camp other then wildcamping.

24hr in a plaza. There's additional parking on the side.

In the center it is difficult to park a big truck. We found this large and quiet place to sleep surrounded by mountains with beautiful views. They are building a zip line and there are workers who sleep here. You have to take the road just before crossing the bridge, where the picture shows

Still a very relaxed, efficient border crossing. Staff super friendly. No checks for food or anything else. No questions asked about insurance either. TIP for one year.

Small but they seem to have everything.
I was able to get a new charging cradle for my Montana 700 GPS and he even gave me a few used but still good Batteries!

A bit expensive but if you are desperate this is the place to visit for everything Garmin related!

The gravel road is very bad, but the view and the sunset was great

asked for 60 liter of diesel, 3 Nato jerrycans of exactly 20 liter each. he said it's 63 liters total, a little rip of, but what choice do you have .. we paid 13.5 somoni per liter.

Stayed here for 4 days, waiting for a new CDP. We asked if we could use the adress of N1, which was no problem. If you want to use DHL office, it is nearby.
Everything else as described, laundry service is 5US$ for a small bag, enough for bedsheets and sweaters.
Sushi was great, also food and drinks in the brewery opposite.
Music during weekend was not really disturbing, finishing around midnight.
Very friendly stuff. Good point for meeting other overlanders.

Safe and clean hotel which we paid 900L for a room for 2 people. Room is basic but clean, had AC and fan, and also a small kitchen (microwave, mini fridge, sink), so ideal for people that want to store and prepare food.

There is ample secure parking. There is a huge gate that is shut at night and lots of security cameras around surveilled by reception.

Also there is a pool which looks well maintained but we didn’t swim in it.

Impossible to reach the camping by car. The uphill road is now paved except for the section until reaching this point

Nice spot, easy to access, beautiful view on the ocean, felt safe !

As described, beautiful and calm place. No issues. Some friendly dog walkers. Fauces working, so we refill our dmall water tank. Train is crearly heard during the night but is far enough and do not disturb us.

its a forest park. there are oak trees here.you can camp in nature but there is no facility here no water, no electricity no toilet. pure nature!

A little bit up the hill from the main road (steep but possible to cycle for me). The gate entrance to the Place is directly at the main road, towards the east, quite visible with signs.

The place has a small parking lot.
A clean restaurant and bar.
They're renting a cabin (one cabin) with own bathroom and electricity.
Friendly staff and some dogs and chickens.
WiFi 4mb/s.

Around the restaurant and cabin, I couldn't hear the road, but I didn't pay special attention.

Seems kids and family friendly.

They grow and sell their own coffee.

The owner was very happy having a foreigner as a guest and told me very excited that once a couple from Europe rented a cabin.

I pitched up my tent somewhere on the property. They don't have fixed prices for tents. They said, if I want to give a small donation, I can.

About 30 minutes from Walnut Flats along Dismal Creek Road. Many lay-bys along the way. Level. Suitable for a caravan. 1.5 bars of AT&T.

Spring water out of the side of the mountain. approx 1 gallon per minute flow.

Quite place next to a river. We had a quite night. At the daytime some fishermen where around.
we also saw a lot of "nutria" swimming in the water. (animal from south america)
The trees are hanging deep, so no big ring friendly.

Moody Springs water fill. approx 1 gallon per minute, not anlble to hook up a hose to outlet. there is a steel pipe the water comes out. water bottle used to extend over edge of rockface.

Great spot outside of Antigua. Has a restaurant, toilet, lukewarm shower, and a number of other amenities. 20 minute walk to centro or a cheap Uber ride in if you prefer to park and chill when near cities as I do!

One of many spots along MC Rd, most are nice although not too far off the road. No traffic at night though, pretty quiet. Fire ring, no other amenities. Useable cell service.
Small, steepish trail down to the river with tent spots/fire rings down there. Ok for fishing and a view of the spillway from below.

Directions of all previous posts are wrong. There is no RV parking. Grass is 3ft tall for tent camping. The exit with the Pilot gas station is the way to get there.
