Description
You need a permit for the Kinnaur valley. When coming from Shimla, this is where you get it. The office is in the town of Rekong Peo. It takes around one hour to do it. Nowadays a travel Agency has to do it for you. "The Monk Travels" is the closest and they also have another office next door to deputy office. Only the passport is required, forms, pictures, etc. they do on spot. Office hours are from 10am to 5pm.

You can get the inner line permit for Kinnaur and Spiti Valley also in Pooh.
I did so as the Monk Travels (Rekong Peo) told me on saturday it won‘t be possible bevore Monday at booth places.
It worked out fine in Pooh. 200R for the Permit and 100R for fotocopy and forms.
ILP has to be organized through travel agency nowadays. Fee is 500r.
There's an Agency "The Monk Travels" very close by and they also have another office at the building next door to the deputy office. Lots of overlander stickers, so it seems offical :D and they are very friendly to do it.
Just needed my passport and the money. Forms, pictures, etc they do.
Office hours are from 10am to 5pm.
The tourist office will open at 9am but the government place won't until 10am. Both will close at 5pm.

A guy help us to proceed it for 400 Rupees each so don't know how much exactly the permit cost. Only the passport were required for us, Spanish and Swiss nationalities.
