this place is a big car wash yard with à continuous flow of cars and little trucks coming in for a wash.
the owner as well as the people working there are all very kind.
we used this place to leave our camper while touring la Guajira for 3 days in a 4×4 .
it's a very safe place.
but , don't stay in your camper overnight.
we did it and could hardly sleep as the car wash is attached to a club , bar and restaurant playing incredibly loud music until 3 am on week ends ,(11:30 on week days)

Is a family business managed by Francisco and Juan Carlos brothers. $10000 per night, power and very helpful people interested in a good service to tourists. Allowed me to use their washing machine to do my laundry. Help me to empty dirty water tanks.

They have dogs, cats, roster (who like to came inside the motorhome), hens, ducks, gooses, rabbits, parrot... and I also saw free monkeys!!!

The location is very convenient 10 min walk to the beach an 5 min to malecon.

Juan Carlos and Francisco were very helpful, I arrived with a damage in the solar panel support (thanks to a tree) and with Luis and his workers they dismantled and fixed welding, straightening and installing again as new. $60000
I also wanted to change the side of water discharge and Juan Carlos came with me to the market in downtown to buy materials and Luis installed properly $30000.
They helped me to weld a lock for the batteries and paint them $80000

Additional service possibility. Señor Ubaldo Diaz is a "todero". The guy handles wood, metal, pipes and basically can handle any kind of job you may have to be done on your vehicle. We did two projects with him, friends needed a metal roof cover, I needed metal parts protections for my windows. ended we've all been over satisfied about the result and the cost. Here, provided with the fact you ask gently, the very nice dueña (Juli) will offer you the following services: 1- wash your vehicle and protect (grafitear) your chassis from salt and sand (20'000COP), 2- leave your vehicle in a secured place if you take a company tour in the desert (10'000Cop per night) 3- sleep onsite in your vehicle (basic toilets and shower, electricity, no drinkable water for 10'000COP per night), Stickers and window polarization with Andre, prize on demand. All of these foxes are super nice. keep in mind this is NOT a campsite. It's just a favor they happily do to the travellers passing by. No height restriction.
