Nice peaceful spot in the trees off of a forest road. Several fire rings in the area and the ground is pretty level. Looks like some spots could get pretty muddy if it rains. There are also a few other spots to pull off and camp if you continue down Forest Road 76. The road was surprisingly well maintained, pretty much any vehicle could make it. Had barely enough cell service to send a text message.

several spots in the woods as well as further down the road. the road was eventually blocked by snow. beautiful valley. quiet place. we woke to 22 degrees. lots of logging roads off the main road that have places to camp or park
Report Check-InLovely pine wood area, despite the road being close by it is quiet. Was woken this morning by a woodpecker - idyllic.

Report Check-InBy the Clearlake at road 20, there is some sites with some nice breeze to rest by a picnic table next to the lake itself, the water doesn’t look appealing once you get closer but still a nice view and a shady place to spent some time to stop and rest and eat !! Recommended if you are driving thru this area
