Something not right?

Description

Wild camping about 150 meters from (unpaved, quiet) Snug Harbor Road. There are two paths that lead down to the campsites. One is quite steep and rutted, the other is less steep and less rutted. You'll know if you're at the right spot because there is a very large white and red electrical tower right on the shore. Once down, there are probably 5 to 8 places to camp. Vehicles and tents both have plenty of places to choose from. AT&T signal claims to have 5 bars (with our booster) but despite this, we were not able to load webpages like we needed in order to work.

Latest Check-Ins

Check pictures. I just stopped by the spa and it definitely does not seem suitable for anything other than short wheelbase four-wheel-drive vehicles. The hill is very steep and narrow. I uploaded two pictures of the road going down to the site.

Report Check-In

Two large sites (for groups of friends) between the trees, two small sites (for individual tents) and one vehicle site (back-in only) very close to the lake. (Locals use the small one between the electricity lines for fishing.) Larger sites are protected from the wind. Both access roads are too steep for RVs and most trailers. One should use 4WD to climb out (to prevent making even deeper ruts). AT&T signal present, but no internet access. Came in for one night, stayed two. Then visited Kenai City and came back for a third night.
