Something not right?

Description

A number of small pullouts at the end of a forest road that dead ends at the end of a fjord (about a 20 min drive). Some have informal fire rings. A lot of full size trucks bring boats down here to fish. Very quiet.

Latest Check-Ins

Lots of boat trailers parked upon arrival, road was a little rough. Not a ton of room to tent if busy, but there are 2 or 3 little sites with fire pits.

Report Check-In

Beautiful spot at the end of the Work Channel Fjord. The spot right by the boat dock is a great spot right on the water, though early morning boaters may wake you.

You do have to drive across the beach to continue the road and to get to this spot. Talked to a few locals, they said it is okay and isn't too deep even in high tide.

Multiple spots for vehicles before the boat launch and after.

Report Check-In

The road is open again. Towards the end of the road there are two forks, stay right at both.
No cell service.
No facilities
Maximum beauty!

I think the best pull out is a little past the boat launch area but before the road turns away from the water.

No signs saying you can't camp here.
Also no signs indicating where it is okay to camp...

Report Check-In

Sign at the beginning of the road warns of potential landslides and washouts that could block off sections of the road. Went to stay there and found a landslide 9km in and had to turn around. Camped in a pull off spot about 1km in and slept fine, just a little disappointed. Might try again later in the season when it's dryer.

Very magical fjord camping. We were the only ones there, beyond day fishers. Very quiet and isolated at night. Great for a kayak or paddle board.
Be wary of parking in the second zone, which is past the gravel beach section of the road. Although people had parked their trucks and boat trailers there, the high tide floods the gravel beach right to the tree line. Not deep, but for some vehicles may be difficult to cross and a rude awakening in morning.

Nice place, few other people with boats, lots of trash. Please take (your) garbage with you. Had a quiet night here. 12km gravel road with pot holes. No problems in good weather. Maybe difficult with lots of rain. Landslide area
