Description

Established National Forest campground. No fee in 2019, but will be $10 in 2020. It is still free as of July 2020. Completely empty. Some sites reserved for people with horses. Pit toilets, picnic tables, fire ring. Very pretty area, but about 5 miles dirt road to get here. Was able to make it in my Kia Soul.

Very quiet campground, only two sites taken when I arrived around 7pm on a Saturday. Pretty secluded, only real noise was birds and some cows.

beautiful little spot. needed a place to crash on short notice and most other campgrounds in the area were booked. took a chance on Jurgens Hollow which is first come first serve. I was one of two campers there to my delight. there was no person to welcome you and pay, rather there was a pay poll where you deposit 10$ for your stay.

Started charging $10 per night for primative camping as of 8/14/20. You can pay $5 per night if you have an interagency pass (we use America the Beautiful). Nestled within rolling prairies it is a quaint campground with lovely views. The gravel road to get here is well maintained. Amenities include potable water (hand pump so can be challenging to fill large containers), garbage cans, fire rings, picnic tables, and pit toilet. Very spotty service on ATT.
