big flat and several other campers. big dumpster on site. sheriffs do patrol. site is in grazing area so you might see cows. over very nice.

Report Check-In

Don't park next to the dumpster. I did my first night, it's a popular go-to for locals, too. someone showed up at 5:45 and left his diesel running while dumping. Of course my window was open.

Tent sites are at the back, behind the fence. They look level and have fire rings.

Report Check-In

Easy in and out. Large square gravel parking lot. Room for lots of rigs. Garbage dumpster they switched out on Wednesday when we were there. Clean. Got water at Carlsbad RV Park for $10. White City RV charged $20 to dump due to size of rig. (38'). Heard Carlsbad Municipal has a free place to dump. May want to check that out.

Report Check-In

Nice large level place to camp while visiting Carlsbad Cavern. Very quiet, no highway noise, or minimal

Report Check-In

Great place to stop for a trip to the caverns, tons of room for everyone! Wish there were more places like this in the US

Report Check-In

Really nice place. Quiet at night. Fits any rig size. We were 10-12 RVs yesterday night and there was room for several others.

Report Check-In

Just a big parking lot. Level and open. Wind was quite gusty but hardly any road noise.

Report Check-In

Lots of open space. Level gravel lot. Very easy to find right off the main highway.

Report Check-In

Great, quiet, free. Large flat gravel area. Multiple vans, RV’s parked up, all respectful in space for all. No facilities other than trash. 7.6 miles / 8 mins drive from Carlsbad Caverns.

Report Check-In

Primitive campground. Dog and tent friendly. Fire rings (please be mindful of red flag warnings). Must be self contained and pack everything out. Please follow leave no trace principles.

Report Check-In

Nice level gravel lot with about 20 other rigs, but plenty of room for more. Also, huge garage bin and full 5g on T- Mobile.

Report Check-In

Large gravel lot that had 15 rigs while I stayed there including airstreams, vans, tents, Truck toppers, Class A, and Class C. Everyone was quiet and respectful of the campground. A large dumpster on the lot. Didn’t catch any wind while there which was nice. Decent cell service. Would definitely stay here again!

Report Check-In

A big lot of gravel, clean and quiet. Tons of people when I was here but everyone had their own respectful distance

Report Check-In

Stayed 3 nights in January 2023. Good paved road to get to this large, rather rocky lot. Some rock fire rings around the perimeter. 10 to 13 rigs of all sizes each night I was here. Not much traffic noise after 6pm, even though this site is near a highway. Sign at entrance asks people to take care of this area, and I was please to note very little litter. About 6.5 miles south of White's City, on County Road 424. This road is also called Dillahunty Road, but 424 is the sign visible from the highway.

Report Check-In

exactly as described, great location. can barely hear the highway, quite a few big rigs

Report Check-In

Great place, quiet and not far from the road. Great cell phone reception.

Report Check-In

Just a big gravel lot. Free. Metal railing surrounding it. A big dumpster by the entrance. No water, bathrooms, or electric. There are big rocks all over the place so be mindful of them. All cars are fine if you take it kinda slow.

Report Check-In

Large gravel lot with level spots. Other vans, trailers even tents. Dumpster on site. Beautiful BLM land site near Carlsbad Caverns NP which, highly recommend. You will see a sign that says no camping keep going down the road to this spot where you will see sign that says Chosa Campground and your there.

Report Check-In

Free BLM and an easy road in. 15 mins from Carlsbad caverns visitor center. Lots of RVs and other campers here. A few fire pits scattered around. Good Verizon service. Beautiful spot!

Report Check-In

Great BLM site. Level but rocky parking lot. Large dumpster. On a paved road (Delahunty Rd)

Report Check-In

Perfect overnight or so place to stop. About 10 acres of dirt parking and a very large garbage bin.

Report Check-In

Large gravel lot fairly level. Gets crowded towards evening.

Report Check-In

Very easy to find this location and accessible to any size rig. Large level gravel lot for plenty of rigs. We saw about 10 here already when we pulled in. We came here because Guadalupe Mtns NP RV spots (25 miles away) were all booked. This is a great quiet spot and we will likely stay here again!

Report Check-In

Large, level gravel lot. We stayed 3 nights in our 40 ft school bus. Great sunsets and only four or five other rigs each night. So close to both Guadalupe Mountains NP and Carlsbad Caverns NP

Report Check-In

We stayed 3 nights in our 40 ft school bus. Great sunsets and only four or five other rigs each night. So close to both Guadalupe Mountains and Carlsbad Caverns National Parks.

Report Check-In

Large parking lot for self contained rv camping. Good Att cell coverage. Feels safe. Very quiet even with 10 rigs here

Report Check-In

Convenient, level gravel BLM lot. Plenty of room for big rigs.

Report Check-In

Arrived around 9pm on a Saturday night and just parked in the middle of the lot because it was very crowded. I stayed here until Thursday morning, visiting the parks each day. Every night it got very busy & there are no defined spots, so people can park right on top of you. It's fine if you're just parking overnight & leaving during the day, but no privacy or "personal space".
On a positive, it's very easy to get to & good T-Mobile service.

Report Check-In

Stayed months ago forgot to check in. Great spot very busy

Report Check-In

Spent a quiet night here with about 10 other RVs and tent campers. Everyone was quiet. There were a few RVs that looked like they’ve been here longer. Our spot was level and location is convenient for Carlsbad Caverns.

Report Check-In

Gravel parking area. Fairly quiet and lots of room m units.

Report Check-In

Big gravel lot on paved road just off Route 62. Has trash dumpster. Popular site close to Caverns. There are more sites further down road.

Report Check-In

Recommended by Park Ranger at Guadalupe Mountain NP due to high winds at the park. Between MM8-9 on route 180, it’s a flat area where every size rig can find room. Lots of cars too on account of the high winds. FREE

Report Check-In

Spectacular views of the sunset and sunrise. It’s extremely windy so be aware of that. Surrounded by families and everyone is quiet after 8pm. Woke up one morning to snow slowly billowing across the lot! Magical but it was hella windy. Dog poop scattered everywhere.

Report Check-In

Stayed for just one night. It was super windy so I didn’t put up my awning. They do have a trash can but that is it for amenities. Bring firewood if you want a fire. Right outside of Carlsbad Caverns.

Report Check-In

Nice enough for an overnight. Just a flat gravel lot. Plenty of room for big rigs. 15 people there when we were, still plenty of space.

Report Check-In

The area is a simple gravel lot. It's very windy, so need to position your trailer/RV with the wind. I'm getting LTE with our cell phones, plus we have a Webooster. Pretty safe.

Report Check-In

Flat level ground. Easy to find even at night. Trash cans available. Close to Carlsbad Caverns.

Report Check-In

Big flat easy to find lot. Right off the main road. Solid Verizon LTE speeds. Small trash can. Pretty good for a dirt lot. Plenty of others here. Feels safe.

Report Check-In

Quiet in the night. Nothing special, but due the job for one night. Very big gravel and level spot with space for a lot of rigs. Nothing around but very close to the caverns. Free.

Report Check-In

nice wide space. Mostly Rvs. Verizon signal is lte and I was getting about 40mb down. sure beats the Pine Springs Campground in Guadalupe national park. car campers at rtt are considered rv. you will be parked in a somewhat cramp spot. I almost stayed there, but the constant running generator annoyed me. Other folks said it's been like that for a few days.make the drive. Google has the correct spot. there only trash cans btw

Report Check-In

Carlsbad Caverns ranger gave the info. This is a new area and is rather a big area just down the road from the Caverns. We watched the bats fly and had no trouble spotting the sign in the dark on the left side of the road.

Report Check-In

Great spot, easy access, just off the highway, great sunsets and sunrises. Stayed here after Carlsbad Caverns visit, on the way to Guadalupe Mountain National Park. (see review there)
