Up hill across the road on 772 Means Road. High ground clearance needed the higher uphill. Sights are about every 100 yard uphill. Windy but Perfect spot with a view.
Report Check-InThere's quite a few spots on the road leading up here but this one gets you out of sight of the main road so there's less road noise. Like others have said, it's a bit rocky so high clearance is good to have but 2wd should be fine. Very beautiful and peaceful.
Report Check-InNice view, passed several spots on the way up with fire rings. Definitely need high clearance, a bit of a rough road going up to this specific spot, but you could more easily access ones along the way. No bugs, 2 bars LTE with T-Mobile. I didn’t see anyone on the whole

As described, many spots (7-8) along a rough gravel road. Need high clearance only, our lifted 2W Astro with BFGs was fine. We stopped at the farthest spot up on the hill, with a fire ring. Nice views of valley around us, No bugs and perfect temps, even mid July. Would recommend.
Report Check-InLarge location was probably the best out of any of the places on this road plenty of room for a truck and small trailer to turn around in. Is a good flat lot, plenty of spots for a tent has a fire pit in the middle and did I mention what a great view it has!? It is set off the road a little further this spot is perfect for privacy not that you really need it on this road anyway I came through with a half ton truck and truck camper as you definitely need a vehicle with ground clearance.

No trees or shade. Nice and quiet. nice view of Carlsbad at night. 2WD not a problem. We were on motorcycles.
