Stayed here 1 nite. Very quiet except for the rushing river mere meters away. Overnight road traffic was non existent. Morning and evening traffic was sporadic. We saw kayaker and rafters stop nearby.
Report Check-InWe visited there with our van to stay the night. You have to take a pretty rocky route to get there and the road to get to the spots next to the river was completely undrivable with our small van. Definetly need a 4x4 high vehicule. But we found a spot just under the electricity thingy and was really accessible. We were alone and it’s very quiet place!
Report Check-InGo further out Paradise Valley road,, at the very end,, there's a bunch of free camping very near the river. It can get rather party-ish on weekends,, but that's what weekdays or for! ....there's even live data for those who are obsessed with internet. <;~]
...It's a favorite local place, so close to the city.
This is a pull off space right on the side of the road just north of a single lane bridge crossing the Cheakamus River. There are signs saying no camping past this point beyond the gravel pull out. But there is ready access to the river and it’s very quiet late at night.
