Camp Richardson | Showers

Went to RV Campground entrance and they sent us to the hotel lobby to buy tokens for the shower. He gave us a map and said the hotel would tell us where to go. Went to hotel and got the tokens.. but they seemed busy and didn't say where to shower. We looked at the provided map and went to the RV Campground showers (only ones on provided map), which did not take tokens. They were campground concrete showers with plenty of hot water and good pressure. I suggest wearing shower slides, oh and bring soap and a towel. I'm sure we went to the wrong shower, but we got one nonetheless.

Pulled in at the front booth and they asked if we were checking in and we said no we were hoping to get some shower tokens. They didn’t ask if we were a guest, let us buy tokens, and pointed us in the direction of the showers. No general parking next to the showers so we parked in a camp site near the showers, the entire loop was empty save one site on the opposite end. Water was hot and decently clean for a campground. The last 30 seconds or so of the 7 minutes makes a consistent and loud alarm. We took our time getting ready at the site we had pulled into after we showered and the camp host drove by and said we weren’t allowed to use the amenities if we weren’t guests and we explained they sold us tokens so we left after that. So anyway, worth a shot to see if you can buy tokens but maybe hurry in and out lol.

The guy at the front desk said they're for campers only during their summer season. They were closed for the season when we tried. Said the water is all shut off and to try the Tahoe Campground instead

RV Park has 7 minutes showers for $1 ! nice hot and clean. you can buy tokens at the entrance
