Beautiful view above Carson City | Wild Camping

Stayed two nights in this beautiful location. A few people rolled through during the day and only one other overnighted. Only problem, we thought the road in was trash. Parts of the dirt road have been washed away, some muddy spots, and VERY narrow. There is absolutely no way two cars can pass one another on this road, IMO. We’re in a Sprinter and I wouldn’t try it with anything bigger. Between 1-2 bars LTE on ATT. Free!

There's another spot for 1 vehicle further along facing the city with wonderful views. -4C at the end of October, very adequate Verizon signal.

Pretty easy drive i . Def room for a solid group. Sadly super windy, but a great place nonetheless when avoiding the Tahoe crowds.

This is a great spot, and there are several more on the roads in this area. There is 0.5 mile dirt, then it is paved for 1.5 miles, and dirt again for maybe 0.5 mile - not bad at all for 2wd campervan. Deserted on a Weds!

Large flat area that can easily fit 4-5 rigs. Decent cell service, nice view, and very quiet! Only one other rig here when we rolled in.

Road is fine for 2wd. Enough room for afew but I didn’t see anyone. Amazing view.

Pull out off of rough dirt road but worth it. Stunning views of the desert and Carson City. Extremely quiet.
