Not far off the main highway as you are going south to Cuenca. Small piece of public land right after a bridge next to a river. Stayed one peaceful night here. Bring a garbage bag to collect what garbage the locals leave here and set a good example.
The entrance has two trees which you must drive under with about a 4-meter height clearance.

Small, quiet place not far from Cuenca. It's actually surprisingly quiet. Locals were washing their laundry in the river when we arrived. River which is also clean, the water is fresh and transparent, it is possible to swim there. On the other hand, you are clearly visible from the road.
Report Check-InGreat place for Camping direct next to a river. We wanted to feel a little bit more secure and protected so we crossed the river and set our tent on the other riverside. There, definitely nobody can see you.
Report Check-InReally sweet spot just off the PanAm. Pretty quiet, river is nice scenery and fun for the dog. There is a dirt bike track across the river, but noise stops by 6pm. Please do pick up some garbage and try to keep this place nice. We are 3.3m tall, would not come in here with anything taller unless you want to trim trees. Seemed totally fine to spend the night here and some locals came by while we were here. There is a gas station 1/4mi back to the PanAm that you can drop off the garbage you collected :), or pick up a snack, it's quite nice actually.
Report Check-InExcellent spot. Much better than I thought, being this close to houses and the road , but they don't bother and the road is very quiet. Gravel parking lot with a little bit of shade and good cell reception. Quite scenic
