Wanted laundry and showers, so good for that. People nice. When we called, they said we could park our 17’ van on tent site normally ($40+tax) but not last night due to rain—would damage grass and gravel. So reserved what we were told was 15 amp site, listed at $50+tax. Realized when we arrived had been charged $55+tax. They said because site was 15/30. We said we were told 15. They finally gave us CAA discount. We were parked on somewhat grassy gravel. Could see no difference in terrain between serviced and unserviced sites. Sites very narrow. But today was beautiful sunny day for more time in Halifax and tonight we’re boondocking on Grand Desert Beach.

This camp site is visited by many Europeans (like us) who start or end their North American trip in Halifax. It is conveniently situated near the harbour and relevant stores and suppliers.
We paid $64 per night for a site with 15/30 amp and water. The facilities are rather outdated but kept very clean. There is a $1 charge for a 4 minutes hot shower.

there are only pits with elec and water even if you dont need or cant use them. no RV allowed on tente pits. shower 1$ for 4 minutes (dont forgent the code to enter the washrooms). no free wifi code. the location not far from Halifax is praticable but this campsite is expensive for what it is (highway sounds, only 1 washrooms aera for the while lots). mainly RV present at that Time of year.

Campground within Dartmouth, next to a park with large pond & residential neighborhood. There is highway some city traffic noise, 10 minutes to Halifax Ferry. 44$ small 15 amp electric site. Some trees, tenting sites next to wall of trees, some larger pull through with 3 services near entrance(30 & 50s). Clean washrooms, coin operated showers. If coming in & out at night you will need a keycard to open gate, 20$ deposit.
