very new (built 2022) kind of luxury hotel. swimming pool is there and they are just about to open a big water fun park for kids. room is around 45 USD but there is also a compound w smaller rooms which are quite big anyway. cost 5k ks. I could bargain to 3k ks without breakfast.

I came from Tsavo west NP and was looking for a place to stay on the way to Nairobi. They wanted 3000ksh for the camping (just me in my own tent!) not negotiable! So I didn't stay....

They let us camp for 1,500ksh. It doesn’t look inviting from outside, but gets better inside when you are shown the gardens. They have a clean pool and play area with sand for kids. Food at the restaurant was a couple of ticks above local. You are between the road and the train tracks, so there is noise throughout the night, but it is white noise. The owner agreed not to play music to avoid disturbing us. Overall, a good place to stop along the highway.

Next to the road. Beautifull view lovely pool and playarea. It’s under construction building a hotel. Kitchen bar and some rooms 5000 KEH are available. We parked in the parking area which was fine for 2000KEH (2 adults and 2 kids with big truck).
