Sheltered old quarry. Perfect wildcamp, close to the road but out of sight and out of most of the strong winds... quiet and no people around.

As others have said, good bush camp off the main road. Our big rig fit in with no issues. A little windy, so we camped quite close to the hill.
Be careful of ant nests when setting up!
Report Check-InVery good wild camping spot. As the wind was a little bit stronger we drove deeper downhill where we were covered from the hills.
Report Check-InGreat wild camp. The track to reach it is now almost invisible but don't be worry it's OK when it's dry ! Plenty of space even for big rigs. Very peaceful and nice view.
Report Check-InStill great place, as described. Arrived just after sunset, no people around. Stunning view. Wood can be found around the place for bonfire at night.
Report Check-InAnother quiet night at this suburb spot. Beautiful sunset. Even better, another overlanding couple turned up and we had a wonderful evening chatting and watching the beautiful sunset over the planes before us.
Report Check-InEasy access. Big rig friendly. Out of sight of road. Few goat hurders around. Magical view over plains. Very peaceful night. 10/10 for a wild camp spot.
